when I tell you I fucking cried when soap died that shit almost fucking broke me especially when Ghost called his name and checked his pulse I did not like that part but I was happy when Price killed Shepherd in the post credit scene, I also was happy when they brought Yuri back and the little smirk Nik had when Laswell said Yuri's name made my heart warm up
🩸 looks mad as hell in that picture…😭
Modern Warfare III Thoughts So Far
I made the decision to pre-order the Vault Edition of Modern Warfare III last weekend.
Every year I go back and forth on whether or not I am even going to buy the latest CoD game. Last year was the first year I decided to pre-order the game because of the early access to the campaign.
Unlike most people I know, I enjoy the campaigns and early on in the CoD franchise, I would not touch multiplayer until I completed the campaign. As I "improved" at multiplayer, I found myself just like everyone else and not really touching the campaign. I would go back and play through the campaign but it was usually before the next game was about to release.
It was nice last year to be able to focus on the campaign and complete it before the game's actual release. Since they decided to do the same thing again this year, I said why not pre-order it again.
Early access to the campaign went live on November 2 in the afternoon (on the east coast). I played for an hour or so yesterday and a couple of hours today, and so far, so good. Two of the opening missions were "Open Combat Missions" that you had a number of objectives to complete solo. I always play the games on Veteran difficulty, so Ican get the stackable achievements out of the way and then go back on the easiest difficulty to obtain the other achievements. Both of these missions were tough and had minimal checkpoints. I found myself dying...a lot and having to run through again. With each death I tweaked my strategy until finally completing them successfully. I am now on the fourth mission, I believe, and it looks like it is going to be a normal linear mission that is standard for the CoD franchise.
I have just glanced at some headlines and see that the campaign is getting a lot of flak for only being 3-4 hours long. For me, that has always been the sweet spot. I think that it is just the right amount of time especially when playing on the hardest difficulty right out the gate. I know that I can get this wrapped up and be ready to go with Multiplayer as soon as it arrives next week.
Overall, for those did pre-order and are playing the campaign, don't look at the length as a bad thing, look at as a good way to finish the campaign and unlock all of campaign related achievements (and trophies too), and help the days go by until the full game releases. For those of you who did not pre-order the game but are looking forward to the campaign as well as the multiplayer, as of right now I can say it is fun and definitely worth the play through.
