Keegan, the man, the legend
So, me and my friends are unhinged and in a total stroke of genius we decided to assign the COD characters crayola crayon names. Like, not the colors, just the names for the group chat lovingly called Crayola All You Can Eat. Bear witness to our greatness:
There is no rhyme or reason, just ✨vibes✨
Keegan: Cheese Grater
Hesh: Earthworm
Kick: Fuzzy Wuzzy
Logan: Unmellow Yellow
Ajax: Black
Merrick: Raw Umber
Torch: Outrageous Orange
Grim: Eggplant
Neptune: GoldenRod
Ghost: Dingy Dungeon
Soap: Ogre Odor
Gaz: Gargoyle Gas
Price: Pesto
Roach: Dirt (or Bluetonium)
Laswell: Razzmatazz
(And one of my friend’s oc is Sharpening Pencils)
König: Purple Mountains’ Majesty
Alejandro: Campfire Flicker
Rudy: Big Dip O’ Ruby
I'm bored and I just watched a MLP video so-
Which Ghost characters would be earth ponies/pegasus/unicorns:
Walker family: Earth pony
Merrick: Earth pony
Keegan: Unicorn
Ajax: Pegasus
Kick: Unicorn
Rorke: Unicorn w/broken horn (like Tempest)
Bonus Characters!
Grim: Pegasus
Torch: Unicorn
Neptune: Earth pony
So I read BlueGiragi's newest comic on their Patreon and it got me thinking about not a monster au for CoD:Ghosts, but more of Demi-Humans.
Ajax- Leopard. I dunno, he just gives panther vibes lmao.
Elias - Grey Wolf. He's just a leader man. Idk how to say it... Death pupper.
Hesh - Wolf-Dog(Grey Wolf and Golden Retriever mix). Yes I made Mrs. Walker a Golden Retriever. Deal with it. EITHERWAY, Hesh looks more like his dad, pointed, upright ears, thicker fur for tail along with coloring of his fur, probably has golden highlights.
Keegan - Yeah no... He's a snow leopard... I... I tried. I really did. But he just... Yeah there's no winning with that. The fandom cooked, props to whomever suggested it first.
Kick - Fennec Fox. He was gonna be a Maned Wolf... But then me and a friend of mine decided Fennec Fox was a better fit... Also big fox eared Kick just makes me giggle.
Logan - Wolf-Dog(Grey Wolf and Golden Retriever mix). He looks more like his mom though, 1 ear is floppy, more golden-hued fur, but still thick furred tail.
Merrick - Black/Tyrant Hawk-Eagle. I dunno, he gives birds with black feathers vibes.
Neptune - Platypus. No further comment.
Ramos - Leopard Gecko. Tail dropping. That is all
Rorke - Cassowary... No notes.
I wish I could expand on some of these, but my brain has slotted these folk as such and won't expand on it sooo.... Enjoy lmao.
If elias was a number he'd be 17
If merrick was a number he'd be 10
If keegan was a number he'd be 8
If hesh was a number he'd be 5
If logan was a number he'd be 4
If kick was a number he'd be 9
If neptune was a number he'd be 11
If rorke was a number he'd be 3
If torch was a number he'd be 13
If grim was a number he'd be 1
Source: i dont fucking know i might be tweaking and am having visions
I was stuck travelling yesterday, however I had the pleasure of listening to Will Wood's "Incase I make it," full album, and I shall categorize which songs I think fit which Cod Ghosts character
Hesh - Becoming the Lastnames
Logan - That's Enough, Let's Get You Home
Elias - Cicada Days
Keegan - Vampire Reference in Minor Key
Ajax - Tomcat Disposables
Merrick - White Noise
Kick - You Liked This (Okay, Computer!)
Neptune - Sex, Drugs, Rock 'n' Roll
ODIN Space Station Crew - Falling Up
Rorke - Half-Decade Hangover
Riley - The Main Character

Hello:D
I wanted to say thank you to all the people to viewed and liked my posts! I really appreciate it!𓏲ּ𝄢 you don’t know how much it means to me🥹
I think I wrote more this time?
Tell me why the song ‘Ayo Technology’ kinda reminds me of Kick?? Idk. I was listening to it non stop while typing..
Other than my ramblings [uhhhhh] here is chapter five!
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
“Mean it.”
-.starting.-
“I got something. Something good.” Was the only thing the information technology specialist as he rushed everyone into the briefing room.
Silence filled the room. Unusual for the team that once seemed to be so lively, bantering, cracking jokes, laughing while serious at times needed. Of course, they did occasionally but..the shift? It was clear.
“You better have found something, kid or I swear to god..” The commander started, his voice gruff with hints of visible exhaustion.
Everyone was exhausted.
“I swear.” Kick confirmed, turning to meet Merrick’s eyes with a firm nod. His voice was low and steady as he turned his laptop to face the four members staring at him expectantly.
“She’s undercover. Ever since going M.I.A. Feds found her but she escaped as off the intel I managed to collect through some sources..It’s her. I know it’s Estelle.”
“Yeah..No one’s doubting you there, man. That’s something Estelle would totally do.” Hesh confirmed with a scoff, not from annoyance, but from fondness.
“Merrick?” The information technology specialist turned to the commander with a neutral gaze, but under that was a flicker of something dangerous.
Hope.
“I’m not doubting you there.” The commander finally spoke with a sharp nod. He sat back against his seat, hand tapping on the table with a rhythmic beat.
Plotting.
Calculating.
“But why the undercover? What’s the plot?” A rough voice finally interjected. Keegan. His tone was careful and planned. But it hid a meaning, a meaning no one dared to question.
“The feds..could’ve have broken her.” Logan finally spoke. The youngest of Elias’s two sons.
He knew all too well about it.
More than you could think.
“Another soldier? Maybe. But Estelle? Fucking impossible.” A huffed scoff escaped Hesh as he answered.
“You don’t know-“
“He’s right about that.” Kick finally backed up Hesh.
“If what Kick says is true, the feds are playing a mixed game. If they get to her first..they’ll break her again.” Merrick interjected, shaking his head with a heavy look that seemed to carry the literal weight of the world.
“Then what now?” Keegan finally questioned. A question no one wanted to dare ask, even more answer.
“What now?” The question still seemed to echo as each member pondered upon the thought. That was until Merrick’s voice cut through the palpable tension that could be cut even by a knife.
“We better get to her. And fast.”
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
“Think we’ll get to her soon?” Logan’s voice spoke up through the easing banter that seemed to fill the air for now.
“Soon? She’s damn good at evading. We’ll be chasing a mouse in the dark.” Kick grumbled from his position on the couch, tablet in hand, messing around.
“You’d think.” Keegan’s rough voice chimed in from the sidelines, beer in hand, balaclava pulled up to under his nose. The other hand tossing a card on the table to where Hesh faced the other side.
A curse escaped Hesh’s lips as he grumbled and tossed a card on the other end of the table. “The biggest understatement of the year.”
_._._._._._._.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
The beating of her heart hammered in her ear, mixed with the howling of the wind, brushing frost kisses along her earlobe and down the rest of her body.
Crunch.
Crunch.
Crunch.
Went the leaves under the soles of her worn out shoes, loud and echoing in the grey atmosphere of the earth. Her legs and knees burned, a sore and raw ache shot up in her legs every few minutes.
Don’t stop.
Don’t look back.
Run. Estelle. Run.
Run until they cant catch you. Until your legs give up the motion of moving. Run until they aren’t able to reach you. And then-
Fall.
Wither to the ground.
And engrave yourself deep into its roots. Until your DNA had vended and molded with the roots of the trees. Until they familiarize with you and accept you as their own.
She didn’t look back. At least not until she did what her mind ended. She could hear her own heavy breathing.
Heaving.
Catching.
Struggling.
She collapsed to the ground. Knees digging deep into the soil, enough for her dark worn out jeans stain with the dirt brown color.
Her legs felt like they would pop out of their sockets then and there, break free from her pain.
Raw.
Real.
She couldn’t hear the sounds of the soldiers no more. But she couldn’t be sure yet. Not so soon.
You could never be so sure in this world. Could you?
Her mind felt like it was spinning. The wind was still harshly hitting her, whipping her body in a way that could not be described.
She hadn’t felt the cold crisp wind in so long.
Free.
That was what she was.
But she was now a fugitive.
To be hunted. Fought. And brought back.
She stayed there, grounded by the soil till she felt better. She didn’t know how long had passed. Since she had ran, escaped and evaded the federation soldiers.
She could only feel the fury of Rorke once he heard of this. He would be relentless in getting her back. The thought made her shudder involuntarily.
But for now?
She was on her own.
_._._._._._._._.
“I got her location.” Kick’s tone was calm. His fingers working their magic, flying against the keys. Typing with a critical gaze as he pulled up intel he managed to hack.
“Where?” Merrick demanded, not in a rough manner way, but an exhausted way.
To find their missing teammate.
“I managed to get feeds from the comms of one of their bases-“
“That was a ballsy move, dude.” Hesh interjected with a frown. He wasn’t wrong. Who would risk their whole security for a few minutes of tape?
“I know.” Kick glared at the man with sharp amber eyes.
Hesh bit the inside of his cheek. Whether it was from preventing himself from laughing or from a sharp retort.
Serious faces were on.
“And you’re damn sure it’s her?” Merrick questioned with a raised brow. Skepticism was clearly visible.
“Only one woman that I know has white hair.” Kick retorted smoothly.
“Still wonder how it’s natural..” Logan mumbled to hesh’s side to which the older snorted quietly, covering it with a cough.
“Real smooth.” Keegan’s blunt voice spoke out from looking at the feed on Kick’s tablet.
Kick only rolled his eyes but said nothing. “Damn shitheads.”
“Quiet.” Merrick’s tone matched Keegan. Though it was more exasperated if anything. The old commander only earned a few minutes of silence.
When there was no flicker hope, you had to spark it yourself.
-.-.-.-.-.-.
Time seemed to have no bounds when you wander for so long.
She could hear the same crunching under her feet as she wandered through the thick autumn foliage.
Soldiers boots, crunching the leaves. Haunting her mind. That same sound she was making.
Her mind was working fast. Calculating how much distance she had walked and how much more until she would find some sort of street, crumpled and abandoned.
It was almost night, she could tell by the sky turning the blue, the sun settling down into the ocean and the moon taking its place.
Her feet stopped on their own, aching from how much she had walked and ran with no avail of escaping this stubborn forest.
Curling up under a tree, her grey eyes, once sharp and keen were now tired and dull.
That was what the federation did. Snatched any source of comfort and hope away and shoved you into a spiraling darkness.
Even the strongest break.
Hoot.
Hoot.
The sound that left the beaks of owls near by, mixed with the flowing of a river, somewhere near but so far.
Her stomach growled.
Her throat itched.
Her skin burned.
But she didn’t do anything. She shut her eyes, leaning her head against the bark and let her surroundings settle down until her consciousness dragged down into the sea of drifting exhaustion.
_._._._._._._.
She bolted awake to the sound of faint drizzling of rain.
Lovely.
Of course it had to rain. Didn’t it?
Groaning, she sat up. That was probably the best sleep she got in months. Standing up, the ache of her body had disappeared.
Good.
She would have energy to run if needed.
She took a few shaky steps, getting her mind to work was now a challenge.
One step.
Second step.
Third step.
Her legs started to move automatically in a machine like way, like she wanted to escape this hell hole. To return to the comforts of her world.
To never look back.
_._._._._._.
Footsteps neared, approaching where she was.
Her breath hitched slightly.
They found her.
They came to kill her.
“You didn’t think we would find you. Did you, Night stalker?” The same voice snarled. The general. He was here. To capture her. To extract information. To make her loose her insanity.
“Wypierdalaj.” She snapped out harshly, slipping out a dagger. One of the others she had stolen. Right from the general himself.
Thunk.
It embedded itself right between a soldiers eyes. Risk. You always take out the risks.
But had the soldier deserved it?
The other soldiers shifted uncomfortably, tense as their comrades body fell limp to the ground. The generals jaw tightened, enough for a vein to visible.
“Surrender. And no harm will be done.” He spat out, hand tightening on his gun.
“No.” Her voice was firm, sharp as she threw another dagger.
Thunk.
It hit the bark of a tree, just grazing the general’s uniform. The older man didn’t move, stayed planted in his spot and didn’t dare to look at the dagger. “You missed. Aren’t so good as you thought you were, huh?”
She didn’t answer. He was right. She hadn’t practiced in her captivity. She was slowly loosing her composure now.
Slit their throat.
Be rid of them.
Rage was truly a terrifying thing. One not to be reckoned with. The impulse was eating her alive.
Thunk.
Thunk.
This time the daggers didn’t miss. Two soldiers remained. The general was now starting to see he was no match for her. At least not here. A crucial mistake to underestimate a spy.
He started for her, the other two remaining soldiers did too. She moved her body like a fluid, with practiced ease, running away from the bullets. She didn’t have enough daggers. Not now.
Thunk.
Thunk.
Two more daggers flew, hitting the other two soldiers. She had no daggers left.
The general was nearing her. “Did you really think you could kill all my men and escape?” Her growled out. Fury mixed in his tone with a gentle mock.
“Foolish spy. Rorke will have your head for this.” He snarled out. He was only a few feet from her. Gun drawn with practice, aim so deadly that she knew herself she would die.
“Surrender. I offer you one more chance, and maybe Rorke will consider not brainwashing to faster.” His tone shifted to convincing, trying to get into her head.
Thunk.
A limp body fell to the ground.
Blood pooled around the leaves under the general’s head, velvet red.
Crunch.
She tensed, spinning around in an instant, her last dagger drawn from her sleeve with a death grip as it came to a stop, in contact with a young man’s throat.
“Estelle-“ The figure sucked in a sharp breath, hands held up in the air. In surrender. The voice was low, steady. But she could clearly make out the distinct logo on the uniform.
Ghosts.
.-Ending-.
