#cold tolerance

What is the obsession with putting a vent in the direct line of fire of a toilet. You’re telling me i gotta be constipated AND shivering? It’s everywhere. Homes, apartments, public spaces. Sometimes it’s even in park bathrooms! I get it’s 100° out but this is too common to not be intentional

I’m afraid I’ve lost my cold tolerance. I’ve lived in the Midwest my whole 19 years of living. Getting arthritis? Yeah, bye bye cold tolerance. I’m all bundled up even if it’s only 30 degrees out

So I heard that estrogen lowers your body temperature and I’m kinda worried about that

I already have very low cold tolerance so the AC in the summer makes things too cold for me (I don’t know exactly what temperature is comfortable for me)

I’m worried that if I take estrogen my cold tolerance would be even worse to the point that I can’t bear it (or at least have to wear warm clothes all the time)

Does anyone have any tips that can help?

Can I have animals with different cold tolerance like people? Or not because animals don't wear clothes and have to make do with what's on their backs so if their tolerance is inadequate they'd die and not pass the bad genes? I guess they don't adapt to new climates and some migrate/hibernate, but then people move animals outside of their home climate permanently and have breeding programs so I guess individual animals can have different cold tolerance?

Today in “Isn’t it a little cold for that?!” the downstairs teenager was shoveling the driveway, in clothing that appeared a bit lightweight (but layers can be hidden), but - most importantly -without gloves, what the fuck!! It’s 14F out there!! WHY!!!!! I had on thick warm gloves yesterday and by the time I was half done my fingers felt like ice blocks!!
