The Tale of the Golden Coin (Das Märchen vom goldenen Taler)
Okay, this is a bit weird. But here goes!
Whump scene:
Hans Geiz (Hans Stinginess) has the Golden Coin which he stole from Anna Barbara's village. She went to get it back. Now she is trapped in Hans' dungeon like place where he stores his shiny things. If she wants to earn the Golden Coin she needs to clean all his shiny things first. After the copper and silver things she is in the room for golden things that contains his coins.
All the time Little Cleaning Man (who was cursed by Hans Geiz and turned into a little man, he also forgot his name) has helped her make cleaning fluid to clean the things faster. However, there are so many coins that he is overworking himself. Even though Anna Barbara (AB) encourages him to continue he is getting weaker. She asks him if he is okay and he tells her yes. When they reach the last coin they know it must be the Golden Coin. AB tests it and holds it against her heart. But it's not the right coin. Little Man (LM) assumes Hans Geiz has hidden it and AB starts looking for it while LM collapses.
He accidentally spills the last milk and AB is shocked but discovers her loyal friend is sick asking him what's wrong. He doesn't know either. He's hot and cold and his strength dwindles. AB tells him he can't die. She remarks that she's been looking for the Golden Coin like mad while her friend has been dying. She dabs his brow and gives him the last bread so he can get his strength back. LM tells her he already spilled the last milk. He can't eat the last bread, too. She insists and while eating he finds a golden coin in his mouth. He hands it to AB and it grows. She tests it and it's the Golden Coin. LM tells her to take it and go before Hans Geiz finds out. AB answers that she won'tho alone. He tells her that he is not feeling well, that he's weak and that there is no hope for him. AB refuses and tells him he can't die, that he is her darling and that she would give every coin to safe his life. He asks if that is true, if he is her darling.
She nods and the coin is turned into gold dust and LM is turned back into a young man. He remembers that his name is Stefan and che asks her if he can call her his darling, too.
