Vialattea and other Assorted Notes

Just some brief notes on the "Kingdom" of Vialattea that Dizzy (and Ky have recently established):

---It's a Kingdom in "name only" and functions as a small Republic.

---Apparently mostly Gears live there, but humans travel in and out of the place (and apparently because of Gear Innovations in the region due to Dr. Paradigm and others, the Property values in neighboring regions have skyrocketed).

---It is technically not yet Officially Fully recognized as a nation, but Dizzy and Ky are still acknowledged as its leaders (though the "Federation" of Illyria appears to acknowledge it regardless).

Regarding the Federation of Illyria, they are what is left of the United Kingdoms of Illyria after Ky officially abdicated as High King (most likely Leo and Daryl still purview their own respective regions, which is still most of Europe, Russia, and parts of the Middle East and Northern Africa).

Connected with this, apparently the Phalanx Nine of the Conclave were completely restructured (with exception to one unnamed individual who has sworn absolute loyalty to Ariels despite her status as a Criminal), the current members of Phalanx currently take up residence within Ramlethal's Mobile Brigade, though assuming that a new Pope Maximus takes leadership within the Sanctus Populi, the Phalanx may return to working under that organization at a later time.) It's not said how Sin's connection to the Phalanx will fare at this time, but Dual Rulers may shed some light on that in the future.

With the most recent info, it's confirmed that Ariels' personality has reverted back in to a Kind-hearted individual who wishes to support Humanity's future (though it's vague how the Federation of Illyria will treat her moving forwards).

Goldlewis Dickinson was apparently "assigned" to protect Queen Dizzy as part of her security detail (despite having more prominent connections to America), also apparently Goldlewis thinks of Dizzy less as a Gear and more an individual who "controls UMAs" (though that in and of itself may be a misunderstanding on his part).

Needless to say, but Bedman (Romeo) is still technically "M.I.A." (assumed dead, but may not actually be), and Happy Chaos (the former Original Sage) is still on the loose.

We also do not know Nagoriyuki's current whereabouts, though he appears more closely affiliated with Slayer, who has global connections and may have gone in to hiding.

We also have yet to learn more about Unika's involvement in the future as well...

Civiltà extraterrestri evolute e paradosso di Fermi

La Terra in un buco radiofonico. 42'777 civiltà extraterrestri vogliono parlare con noi. Perché nessun alieno ci ha ancora contattato, nonostante la vastità dell'universo? I ricercatori cinesi ritengono di conoscere la risposta. Solo nella nostra galassia, la Via Lattea, ci sono probabilmente centinaia di miliardi di pianeti. Almeno su alcuni di essi, la vita deve essersi sviluppata come sulla Terra. Ma perché l'umanità non ha mai sentito parlare di questi extraterrestri? La questione è affrontata dal famoso Paradosso di Fermi, che descrive la discrepanza tra l'apparente probabilità statistica di vita extraterrestre e la completa assenza di prove in tal senso.

A quando il primo contatto non cinematografico con gli extraterrestri? Nella foto una giovanissima Drew Barrymore nel film ormai diventato un cult «E.T.  - L'extraterrestre» di Steven Spielberg del 1982. Wenjie Song e He Gao dell'Università Normale di Pechino ritengono ora di aver trovato una risposta. Hanno fatto dei modelli di calcolo su quante civiltà extraterrestri potrebbero esserci nella Via Lattea e quando potrebbero entrare in contatto con noi. Gli alieni devono avere mezzi di comunicazione Perché non basta che gli alieni siano intelligenti come gli umani. Devono anche avere la tecnologia per inviare qualche tipo di segnale radio, in modo da poter essere ascoltati dal resto della galassia. Solo in quel caso si parla di «civiltà intelligenti extraterrestri comunicanti», o, in maniera abbreviata e più famigliare, di CETI. I ricercatori hanno utilizzato la distribuzione delle stelle, la loro formazione e il numero di pianeti nella loro zona abitabile per calcolare la quantità di CETI nella Via Lattea. Poiché i parametri sono molto speculativi, i risultati del calcolo del modello presentano un'ampia gamma. Tendenza all'autodistruzione? Nell'ipotesi ottimistica, i ricercatori ipotizzano che 42.777 CETI siano esistiti, esistano attualmente o esisteranno finché esisterà la Via Lattea. Nell'ipotesi pessimistica, ci sono solo 111 CETI. Inoltre, due CETI devono esistere più o meno nello stesso periodo perché uno venga a conoscenza dell'altro. C'è un mare a Ventotene che in pochi conoscono. È il mare di stelle che si può ammirare di notte. Basta togliere lo sguardo dal telefonino e puntare il naso all'insù. Acquerello.

Annon-Guy: Dizzy's a lot more confident in herself now. Aside her change in clothes, her posture and general behavior is more in reign. She doesn't freak out or is scared anymore it looks like.

Even when she checks on her opponent in one of her round victory Animations, she keeps calm nor does Necro try to bar her.

I guess becoming queen must have taught her to keep calm.

Her interactions are really good (missed opportunity to give her a May, Johnny and Potemkin interaction), but interestingly, the only characters she doesn't smile around are I-No and Chaos, which makes since considering how I-No treated her and how much of a wild card Chaos is.

Wven her interactions with Necro and Undine are wholesome, like them helping Dizzy with groceries (while, trying in Necro's case) or them taking one for Dizzy in Bone Crushing Excitement. Even the victory Animation is cute.

On the subject of groceries, Dizzy once frequently bought food supplies from Jam Kuradoberi, that is, until she accidentally sneezed and destroyed Jam's Restaurant (GGXPlus story ending event, may or may not be canonical). Jam was compensated for the ordeal, however.

As for Dizzy's development... there's a lot to discuss: her new responsibilities as a Queen, how others acknowledge her and her position, and how everyone else in the world will see her.

Vialattea as a Kingdom is new to GG's political history... and it's hard to view it just from what we've seen of Illyria and how that superpower was established in the span of 3 years.

Granted, we still barely know anything about Eastern Chipp Kingdom as well... but unlike them, Vialattea has the distinction of being a nation that grants citizenship to Gearkind... and not all humans may approve of it.

Even Goldlewis questions why someone like Dizzy would stick to her guns in the face of such dire opposition: a world that only sees Gears as "Weapons" and not "People".

But even Politics is not something Dizzy herself is used to dealing with, let alone juggling her duties as a mother to her family.

Fortunately, Dizzy is not alone in her fight... and there are people (human or otherwise) who support her as well.

Maturity is one thing, but being able to connect with and inspire others is another... charisma, in other words.

It's not just that Dizzy is given this position because of who she is... she was put in this position because of what she wants and what she seeks, but also because of how she influences others around her.

She wants people to share their happy futures with one another, with no misunderstandings, though some may not be able to see the future in the same light she does (A.B.A. included).

As A.B.A. says "So long as it's fun" she'll watch Dizzy's "future" unfold.
