The Small Guide to Small Things
That’s me speaking to a group of around 70 high school teachers in Collier County Florida about microbes. Right after this, we had another session with 70 middle school teachers. We talked about the Table of Microbes as a teaching tool; why people shouldn’t see microbes as evil, and of course the Official NJ State Microbe (Streptomyces griseus)! All of the attendees got their own, genuine, signed first editions of the Periodic Table of Microbes.
It’s great when the internet works, I was about 1200 miles away.
