I’ve seen a certain post and my first thought were about how Mika loves high place and he loves to be on rooftops as well as trees.

He doesn’t quite climb to high place during travels, but what he does is either go off the path and probably scare the shit of everyone because he’s on a half vertical slope, or jump/vault over rocks and things, sometimes sliding down a small hill.

Somehow, he’s never harmed.

Don’t get me started on him being often wayyyy to close in battles for a mage.

DARP Advent Door 11

For DARP Advent Door 11,

As your character, write a poem for two or three other characters! They can be incredibly short and simple (especially if your character wouldn’t enjoy such a thing), but just write a few lines and have fun with it!

Alternatively, write a six word story to describe your muse’s relationship to another DARP muse!

Going for both poems and six word story because of the delay~ Mika is also hiding now because wow, I bet nobody expect that he’s quite decent with words and poems, and now he’s embarrassed.

Arganan sighed as he sat quietly by himself in the library. It had been horribly stressful. First he’d just gotten back from an outing with the Inquisitor and the others looking for...something, and then he’d run into Mother Giselle and they had a bit of a row.

In other words, this day had been rather disappointing. But as he felt familiar hands touch his back, he couldn’t help but grin slightly, closing his good eye temporarily.

“I know that’s you, Dorian...and I do appreciate you being here, too.”

Krem glanced down at the mending in his hands. "Yeah, though it's more from my father. Ran a tailor shop while I was growing up. I learned the trade before I joined the army. It's served me well."

He laid the last few stitches down, popping the thread free with a practiced tug and tucked the needle into the collar of the shirt.

"It's a good skill to have. I always thought I'd end up running that shop eventually." He sounded almost wistful. As much as he didn't regret leaving Tevinter, and as much as he maintained that there wasn't anything there for him to return to, he still had fond memories.

Torture was not Cullen’s forte, but at times he had to step up and take the lead on it. It brought out terrible memories, ones that he tried to forget because once upon a time, the role had been reversed. A mage had ripped him apart from the inside and now here he was, doing the opposite as he tried to gain answers. “We could avoid this and you wouldn’t need a warning if you’d give me the answers I’m searching for, mage.”

mermaid: most embarrassing moment? 

-long suffering sigh- I don’t have many of those. Might’ve been when a friend growin’ up took all my smalls, wrote my name on ‘em, and decorated the street I lived on with ‘em. Took forever to find ‘em all.

turquoise: weirdest dream you’ve ever had?

Well, there was the giant fuzzy blue demon.... thing.... chasing me, trying to steal my cookies. Shite was weird!

Mahanon paused at the statement, hands on his hips as he baked under the relentless sun of the Western Approach. The scouts were out doing their thing so they were just sitting idle for the time being. He had removed the top portion of his armor and was standing there, bare chested, staring at the mage still wrapped in leather and cloth.

“I agree with that last part, but you still must be boiling under all that leather.” He said, “Really, Dorian. No one is going to think less of you.”
