The language of Japanese colour combinations
One of my favourite exhibitions ever, is by Christina Mackie. Nine-metre-high silk nets hung in Tate Britain’s Duveen Gallery. The pastel, soft fabric trickled down into pools of dense, crystallised dye.
Colour really is a totally confusing and wonderful thing when you start to try to isolate what it really is and what it does to your experience of the world.
