I decided to go ahead and do this request out of respect to the voice actors James Carter Cathcart and Rachael Lillis, who both gave great characters a voice! Jessie, James, and Meowth work together as a trio and they work under King Giovanni of the Rocket Kingdom. They're both exceptionally fast swimmers, and are sometimes seen wearing disguises to conceal their identities. James has the ability to levitate objects and manipulate sea foliage, and Jessie can control shadows and light. Meowth is just Meowth but as a catfish.

I do wonder what would Archie and the rest of Team Aqua would look like in the merpeople AU?
Archie, Shelly, and Matt as merpeople! Archie would be king of the Aqua kingdom and Shelly and Matt would be his royal advisors. Archie had a design previously but I tweaked the coloration just a smidge. Instead of golden jewelry I gave them aquamarine jewelry since it would tie in with the Aqua Kingdom theme a bit more. The three of them would have incredibly powerful magic that would rival the likes of the Magma Kingdom. Their kingdoms wouldn't be entirely peaceful with one another but not entirely antagonistic to one another either.
I thought it would be nice to have Archie's merman form be inspired by Kyogre since it is an important Pokemon to Archie. Shelly and Matt's designs were inspired mostly by the clothes they wear. Matt is also the longest of the three of them and is the strongest against physical fights, but his magic would be slightly less powerful than the other two. Shelly is the fastest swimmer and is incredibly nimble, with her magic being so powerful that a simple thought would be enough to stop a foe in their tracks with water pulses and sharp noise.
The Francis of Achromas's world of Unova X388! He has been enhanced with cybernetics and like Achromas he has been infected with Phazon.
