I love the sbg fandom but I never understood the theme that it was Ashlyns fault Tyler died. Its so stupid like did you guys see the comic or just read it? He was already cooked the second he fell out, her going back would have just killed everyone.

And im saying this cause i sometimes see this in fics where they genuinely act like it was her fault and yea i get that she thinks that but no??? Same with how yall treat Mizi from Alnst. Smh. Someone explain to me how it was in any shape or form ashlyns fault that Tyler bumped into the door handle??

Other than this i think sbg is one of the least sexist fandoms ive ever been in and this is my comfort fandom fr.

No one outside of the X-Men fandom will ever understand the joy and relief of being treated so kindly and generously by the actors for their favorite ship. To have both pairs of McKellen/Stewart and Fassbender/McAvoy this indulgent and attentive and aware of their fans was a rarity that I have yet to have seen repeated in fandom. They had no obligation to, but their comfort in themselves and maturity in understanding that people just like to have fun is unmatched. I think that’s the root of it really, the X-Men fandom are all just here to have a bit of fun, and our awareness of it resulted in one of the least toxic and most easygoing fandoms I’ve ever been in. I haven’t watched Deadpool and Wolverine yet but I’ve heard about the post credits scene and I just know I’ll bawl my eyes out. What a privilege it’s been being a fan of the X-Men franchise :’)
