Ugh… 👉👈 TW for angst, temporally memory loss, head injury and mental health stuff: but i just thought of a AU where Silas gets a very bad head injury from nemesis crushing him.

He’s confused and perhaps still aggressive due to his in character-ness/being stern and cold, (Breaky is still alive and well :>) and whatnot. But he have forgotten some things, and while he would never admit it, he’s scared, imagining waking up and not having a few memories, but not all are completely gone.

Fowler visits him, and he might remember a few things about him, but… perhaps only stuff before certain events…. And he slowly falls in love with him. (Additional angst/spooky spice: Silas gets possessive over Fowler, and well….things get wonky.>

Considering that breakdown is still alive it would mean that mech didn't get Silas and he got taken by the government/us army/CIA instead (honestly idk to which branch Fowler and the whole bot thing belong) and Silas being in custody/basically a prisoner of the government gives this AU some dead-dovey potential

But then it would make sense for fowler to be visiting him and them developing some sort of attraction for each other (or just one sided from Silas but that would be depressing).

Silas having some sort of memory loss leaves the question if Fowler would tell him the truth about Silas' Past or keep him uninformed/just straight up lie. Idk why he would do that,maybe to keep Silas from trying to escape or just to use his skills for his own organizations' gain.

I think the outcome would really depend on whether we assume that Fowler is a morally good person or that he's a government agent above all and would be willing to manipulate injured Silas for the "greater good" . (Morally grey/average government worker Fowler is something I fw heavily)(Love making my men fucked up)("and remember kids,if somebody says the government wouldn't do that- oh yes they would")

And them developing a relationship in this dynamic would be fun af with Silas not remembering about mech,being loyal/even possessive to Fowler and Fowler not only returning the feeling but also benefiting from Silas' lack of knowledge.

Btw possessive/extremely loyal Silas is something so good

And also,this AU has a lot of fluff/comfort material with Fowler helping Silas recover and them both helping eachother mentally :33 old men being cute is also needed in this world

Sorry anon for the ramblings that may or may not be on the topic but I love making Silas and Fowler a bit unhealthy (as a treat)

since john listens to cassettes, how many does he normally carry on hand normally? also is there are certain movie that he rewatches the most?

He's a man purse/satchel kinda guy so he usually has at least four cassettes on him, plus one in the walkman. He tends to carry homemade mixtapes of his favorite playlists, he makes mixtapes like people make spotify playlists, and it lowers to risk of him losing a cassette he really likes.

Ohh lets see. His comfort/rewatchables would be Re-Animator, Kikkis Delivery Service, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. <3

   I had this sketch for a while and figured I’d finally finish it.

   I like to think this is the result of overworking myself in the garden, laying down to rest, then just falling dead asleep in the middle of the garden, and... y’know how when your cat really loves you, it’ll just fall asleep on you?
