Somewhat unsettling realization I just had. I've been working on comic pages since January. Today I finished page 8. Considering that I wanna shoot for doing 2 uploads a week when I start posting my webcomic, that means I now have 1 month of pages as a buffer.
It took me 3 months to make 1 month of buffer.
Which means....I need so much more buffer...

I've been really getting into some pre-planning for Otterock's eventual comic :]
I first drew the house layout, on the second photo, to then draw a few angles in the house, to see how the place might look, plus the lighthouse to fill in the space on the page. I got very inspired by the house in No One Lives Under The Lighthouse, I really like how small and simple the house is in that game.
So I tried to keep it simple, but with most things Eira would need. It's been pretty fun to figure out what he would have to keep in hand, how he would be as self sufficient as possible, this sort of stuff
I've been working on a something that will hopefully become a webcomic for the past few months.
It's incredibly self-indulgent. If you also like queer narratives, art and heavy metal, you'd probably like it.
Expect posting to start at the end of 2025/early 2026.

hey can i get some suggestions for improvements onto my protagonist? i’m planning him to have a baton of some kind for a weapon if it ever leads into that. i intend for him to mostly wear the hat & sunglasses most of the time. he can change what people percive him specifically as to anything (eg. see him as a dog, another person, a monster), he wears the sunglasses so he can see what he’s being seen as. usually ends up with other peoplpe appearing freakish and distorted as well. i kinda want him to look like, creepier or w/e but this is a concept rn
