- Hazel is named after Alex's grandmother
- They tested character names by just. Shouting them. Jesse's name took 20-30 tries
- Hazel is the youngest passenger they've covered so far- they liked writing for such a young kid
- Hazel says what she thinks confidently even without the experience to back it up
- they love Hazel's VA, they were all stunned by her performance
- Alex brought in the idea of huge companion character (with "big beefy arms")
- Tuba and Hazel's sizes balance each other out, silhouette wise
