I absolutely adore your art style and story telling, thank you so much for sharing them with us! ♡ I'm curious, could you tell us how long on average it takes to finish a page? And what your process is (ie drafting multiple pages before going back to work on and finish the first in queue)? Can't wait to see more of your work ♡

Hi! It usually takes me 2-3 hours to finish a page. Most of that time taken is coloring because I'm extra.

Below is my process.

My sketches are always very very rough for each page. I focus on getting form and shape out of the way before I refine it.

I refine it in Procreate and move things around and see if it reads okay.

After that I just color it in! I keep a base palette of the characters and props, then figure out the colors I want for general ambiance and shading in this page notice I have Herons palette with a pink overlay so that she seems to fit in with her environment.

This panel is literally the first time I’ve drawn Decker to look like Decker and I don’t know how it happened and I hope it’s not the last time it does because I’m so pleased it did.

this is gonna literally be all I do for the next two-three days.
