Mike and some of his friends on signing day. 

This is a picture that was taken on February 5th 2020 of Michael Polizzi soon after committing to Albion university for tennis. 

This picture is more than just a picture. This shows the amazing dedication and hard work of the U of D tennis team as a whole. Michael played on JV tennis for his first two years of High School but through much work and dedication got a starting spot on a U of D Jesuit state runner up team. Michael had a great season. He only lost a few matches and won some huge ones. For example, he upset the 3 seed at states to advance to the semi finals which is almost unheard of for a first year lineup player. He was a big time leader as well on the team. Mike was always calm and always gave great words of advice. He also helped me personally. Many times I had extremely hard matches and he would help me understand that if I went out and played as hard as I could I could beat anyone. All in all Mike deserves this more than anyone and the team is very proud of him.
