Genuinely fucking adore this scene where the entire group is falling apart and arguing and Abed quietly decides to disengage and pet the goat instead of participating.

everyone in the tags on tumblr is so boring first of all I’d die before I ever even engaged with a fictional relationship based on how “healthy” it is or whether I personally would want to actually Be in the relationship (ur brains are all so rotted….none of you know how to engage with fiction it’s actually. so sad.) second of all the take that an age gap between two consenting adults who met as adults in college is irredeemable or automatically makes the relationship “abusive” or “grooming” (im putting those two words on a high shelf from everyone on community tumblr btw) is NOT the hot take you think it is.
Third of All HOW can you not be obsessed with two people in a deeply codependent found family friend group who always gravitate toward each other & know there’s something more than friendship between them but both actively try to avoid it for a hundred reasons or more ??? sorry some of y’all are so goddamn boring but I’m different ✨
forget if i've said this but the single most adhd troy's ever done is the constant jumping in the video game episode. he's so funnyyyy
this scene deserved at least 10 emmys
Community - S1e3
Introduction to Film - As Jeff struggles to get a good grade by convincing an eccentric professor of his sincerity, Britta's offer to bankroll his film class exposes a rift between Abed and his angry father.
I wish that girl who fell off of her desk in the beginning was a series regular
Also, that girl falling off of her desk was not actually scripted, it was a prop failure
Abed's father definitely thought that his son had a sugar daddy from the way he addresses Britta as Mr. Britta
He calls Abed a 'special boy's 😭
I wish we saw more of Abed's dad in the series
Where is all of Britta's money coming from? I doubt that the study group has made a deal with her parents yet. Does she have a job we don't see?
Pierce and Troy are obviously being set up as a duo in this episode, but the pull of Trobed is too strong
Abed's film is called Six Candles, which definitely feels like a reference to Sixteen Candles
The reveal of Abed's dad crying after his movie always makes me so emotional
community rewatch, s1e1-e4
been rewatching community lately and i have thoughts to share! most of them are probably unoriginal but who cares?
i forgot how many episodes don't have the theme song! very sad and i miss it
almost every end credits scene is troy and abed, which i assume is really mostly dani pudi and donald glover fucking around and i love them dearly for it <3
pierce is so!!! annoying!!! and awful!!! i hate how much he's played as a sympathetic character who just wants friends bc he's objectively a racist, bigoted asshole!
britta honey you are so problematic <3. all the guatemala stuff was so,,, ugh. also i swear there's an episode down the line about how she used to be a very vocal activist but this season she's just an annoying white girl who does nothing? don't love that
also a truly surprising amount of anti-semitism for a show with a jewish main character (annie). or maybe i'm just new to looking at it in this lens, bc i'm goyim. but really not good
as an autistic person i will be reclaiming the "ass burgers" joke troy makes in ep 1. like we don't use the term asp*rg*r's anymore bc the guy was a nazi so i personally find it funny. especially when everyone else at the table goes "it's a very serious disorder... :("
also so far shirley has done nothing wrong and i love her
The sudden urge to rewatch community for the rolling on the floor shitting my pants screaming crying throwing up humor.
