So uh hi everybody! I've watched community 6 times so I feel like I'm qualified to post this. I've been very worried to post this though because unlike the other fandoms I've posted head canons for, the Community fandom is much larger and has a lot more people who have their headcanons out here. So for the Community theories specifically I will be explaining my thought process at the end of this post for each character. So if you don't agree please respectfully let me know or just uh don't tell me! I hope you enjoy <3

Oh also I'm not including Pierce because I didn't want to look at Chevy's face for too long but just know I think he's straight cuz uh yeah you know why

JEFF WINGER- I consider Jeff to be bisexual and someone on the aromantic spectrum because of his either lack of care for or need for close connection to want romantic love shown throughout the series, he's much more comfortable expressing his sexual attraction. And for the bi thing, he's often shipped with Craig Pelton and I can see him becoming more comfortable being seen with him or just men in general cuz like...cuz like yeah just look at him

BRITTA PERRY- I think Britta would be polysexual in the way that she'd only be attracted to men and people who are nonbinary since she's said she doesn't like women in the past and I respect that. Also I think she'd identify as a demigirl because she's always kinda been like that I guess idk ts is all vibes based I'm sorry gang

ABED NADIR- Some of this may be projection because he's my fave, but I'm gonna try to explain it all. He only would feel the need to have like romantic or sexual relations once and a while, hence greyaroace. Also like all genders are equal to his eyes in terms of attraction. I would also say he's queerplatonic but I didn't wanna add a fourth flag cuz that was too jarring for me to look at lol just pretend. I can also see Abed not really caring about their gender and I just thought the idea of pangender really suit abed idk I'm trying my best here I'm just happy to make my blorbos gay

TROY BARNES- I would say that Troy wouldn't have an exact label for what he is but achillean feels right since it's attraction to men but could also include other genders, I think it suits him and how he views sexuality very well. I think of him also as demiromantic because of how we've seen him act in relationships, he only really starts being lovey-dovey with Britta and Abed after he gets to know them, but when it's just some girl he's dating cuz she's hot it's purely sexual on his part. I don't think he'd be queer platonic like abed but I do think of them in a relationship together they make it work :) I also think Troy would be polyamorous in that he's dating Abed but can like hook up with other people and it's like a boundary thing they're chill with, even in a non-trobed situation I think that he'd be polyamorous teehee anyway yeah

ANNIE EDISON- ok so this is more of a vibe thing but we've seen her like girls and guys both sexually and romantically (yay) and I feel if she looked inward for like one second they would see that they would prefer being a she/they agender person because she wouldn't actually care for being a cis woman when it came to it I guess idk again, vibes based

SHIRLEY BENNETT- she's become more tolerant over the years especially when it came to her friends like Abed, Troy, and Jeff so I think she'd be a very, almost over, supportive ally and we love that for her

FRANKIE DART- confirmed lesbian (yay!) and uh yeah she's very cool love her, didn't get enough screen time highkey

ELROY PATASHNIK- I think he sees love as something for all people and has romantic and sexual ideals just doesn't express them often, still pan tho and I think again vibes based it just fits how he'd express and see attraction I guess y'all im trying but my thoughts are lowkey stupid

BEN CHANG- literally said he's gay at the end of the series and I'm not gonna pry on that, hell yeah

PROF. IAN DUNCAN- Ok so this is a big head canon on my part so hear me out please!! Definitely fucks every gender, just look at him come on. Like come on. But the genderfluid part is more, again, just a feeling. I mean all gender is but you know what I mean I hope. I can see Ian like getting high one night and just thinking "In wouldn't mind being a woman" and suddenly her whole world would change. Also nonbinary ofc, cuz genderfluid.

DEAN CRAIG PELTON- confirmed queer and unlabeled ofc but i can see him just liking men or being pansexual. considering himself to be just the general label of gender queerness with their expression yeah like using he/they pronouns but also the occasional not-minding she/her uh yeah meow i guess

PROF. BUZZ HICKEY- Seems like an old gay who like gave up on love but definitely loved men and women in the past and still considers himself a bisexual, a little like internalized homophobia I guess

GARRETT LAMBERT- I can literally just hear him saying "I'm bisexual." in his voice. It haunts me.

ANNIE KIM- always focused more on her outwards appearance than anything but when it came to what she really liked, she preferred women but not romantically, but she isn't going to expose that aspect of herself out of fear of the outcomes she could receive from others. I know this is kinda crazy for a background character but I felt it was necessary idk lol

TODD JACOBSON- fuckin' Todd dude, feels right honestly. I think they're comfy in their identity and don't feel the need to inform others of it and honestly good for them.

ALAN CONNOR- bi king just doesn't wanna mess up his lawyer rep, literally says that. evil queer icon, self hating of course but boy does he know how to repress it
