First day in the gym since February
I was hesitant to go back as my gym doesn’t have a capacity limit and masks aren’t mandatory. I went at 6am and thankfully there was less than 10 people there. I wore a mask the whole time as everyone else wasn’t 🙅🏼♀️.
So I want to start doing “compound” workouts. Squats, deadlifts, overhead presses. My issue is that I have 0 confidence and going up to the squat rack with a bunch of muscle bros around feels embarrassing. I’m not sure how to get over that. I stood at the free weights and did a few things but I couldn’t work myself up to using the big equipment. At least I tried?
