I’ve never done this, and I feel very shy about it- if I’m honest.

This past year has been eventful for me, to say the least. I’m at the end of my weight loss journey now that I’m pretty much at target weight and I’m left with all the loose skin from years of being morbidly obese and abusing my body. My confidence and body dysmorphia because of this really affects me, both mentally and physically.

After taking my life back and working so hard to get to where I am now, I’m still left a slave to my body once again and am ashamed and embarrassed of my loose skin. The loose skin causes health issues like rashes and infections as well as ruining my confidence.

Some people suggested making a gofundme, as paying €8k for this surgery isn’t possible for me right now. I decided, what’s the harm? And made it. I’m not expecting anything, but if you could even just share this that would be amazing.

In other news, I did a free trail at a gym through December. I started to feel scared walking in the dark in the city, so it was a really nice feeling to be able to workout in a safe place. I signed up 2 days ago.. and our province just locked us down again today and gyms are closed 🙄. Great. I was so excited to be back at it.

So I heard that a good way to boost fertility is to lose 5 to 10 percent of your body weight (assuming it's reasonable for you to do so).

I weighed myself tonight and my scale said 191.4. So if I aim for 10 percent, that's 19 pounds. At one pound per week, it'll take me five months to lose it and I think thats definitely reasonable.

I'm still working on getting more protein in every day from regular food sources and not shakes. I actually think it's helping not only with getting more protein in, but making it so im so full all the time that im really not snacking that often. Im still struggling with food aversions and I will win eventually. I can usually get about half way through something I really don't want to eat before I physically can't eat another bite without feeling nauseated. Better than not eating it at all
