So no more computer for me 😥 it’s fried and all my recent files, drawings, scans, programs, and photos I’m afraid I will lose them.

Just a heads up if you don’t see any new posts from me, I’ll be mostly on through my phone till we can fix the computer (hopefully)....

Right so I'm having Docking Station Problems.

Upgraded the docking station from the cheap piece of crud my employer sent me to something that should actually work.

It works with the Work Winderp fine, it's having problems with the Fedora laptop. I spent the morning frantically searching the internet. Is this a Wayland issue? What about GNOME? Is there a problem with my security settings?

Yea, there's a problem with the security settings. IN THE DAMN BIOS.

Sure, sell me a laptop and disable half the features. Great job ASUS.

ngl I'm kinda nervous to flash the BIOS. Gonna spend the week installing Debian on some old machines I have as backup.

Some more good news. The home computer has been repaired. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow and start typing up and posting fic soon. I have finished writing the next chapter of Evenstar, but it's not typed.

Not a great weekend. My home computer/laptop broke (so fic updates may be delayed since no home computer) and I had to give D the Cat a bath since she had managed to coat her whole back end in poop. She was surprisingly cooperative and kept her claws to herself, and rather liked the towel snuggle after, but still looks like a drowned rat.
