Scrap life pays for con life, but its dirty and boring
The 6-2-1 Rule
If you go to anime/gaming/sci-fi/furry/etc. conventions, then you already know this one. If not, it's a guideline to take care of yourself during the con. It's also helpful outside of cons, especially when you're in a situation where you're really pushing yourself, when you're in "survival mode," or when life is hard and demanding a lot from you. Keep in mind that these are bare minimums, although they can be somewhat adapted for your needs (i.e. if you shower every other day, or if you've got a newborn and an uninterrupted 6 hours of sleep isn't going to happen).
They always remind people of this, at least at the anime conventions I've been to, because it's easy to get caught up in the moment and forget your basic needs during what's a frankly quite physically demanding event, and then you wind up exhausted, burned out, possibly in a flare-up, grouchy, con-funky (if you know, you know)...it's just not good. Also keep in mind that these are meant to get you through something: a con, finals week, a difficult time, whatever it is; you ideally don't do this bare minimum plan forever. When and if you are able to do so, give yourself more.
I’ve been working months on this life simulation themed journal and now it’s finally here 😭 This journal is perfect for all the life simulat
I just launched a new product guys!! 🎭🙂↕️
This journal is perfect for all the life simulation freaks and prone-to-nostalgia people like me who like journals that help you check in with yourself on a weekly base.
Review what you liked about your week or what you didn’t like. Track whether you’ve met your basic needs like hydration or sleep, OR keep an eye on your goals or your budget. This journal is very flexible and you can adjust it to your liking! It also includes stickers to help you journaling 🥰
Because of how rampant the flu is right now, I highly recommend that fellow convention goers work on raising their Vitamin C and Vitamin D3 levels to help give their immune system a boost; I've provided a list of foods that can help with that.
Vitamin C: Bananas, Bell Peppers, Bok Choy, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Grapefruit, Kale, Kimchi, Kiwi, Mango, Mustard Greens, Oranges, and Strawberries
Vitamin D3: Beef Liver, Cheese, Cod Liver Oil, Egg Yolks, Fatty Fish, Fortified Foods (?), Mushrooms, Pork, Tofu, and Yogurt
And if you don't readily have access to these foods, or you just don't want to eat them, most grocery stores should have just Vitamin C or just Vitamin D3 supplements available in the pharmaceutical section.
Should I drop thresholdbb's guide to stlv?
Hhehehehe con
