THE GHAST

okay I’ve been getting back into my crochet era so ofc my social media keeps showing me these beautiful cardigans made up of granny squares and I saw one with sunflowers and I can just picture sunshine learning how to crochet to make one for harry:( and it’s probably a little lopsided and maybe the buttons aren’t entirely even and she’s a little insecure to give it to him and is rethinking the whole thing as she’s walking up to his cottage carrying it bc he just makes her the most beautiful pieces and she knows her sweater isn’t as good as the things he’s made for her. and so when she gets to the cottage she’s bitten her lip raw and h is concerned bc she looks stressed but then he sees her arms behind her back and he’s “sunshine, what’s going on??” and so she’s rambling “I have something for you and it’s probably not that good but I thought of you when I saw it and I tried my best but if you don’t like it that’s okay!!!” and ofc he’s even more confused and “what are you talking about??” and before he even sees it he’s so affirming and “I’ll love anything that comes from you, sunshine, you know that” and then she’s pulling her arms around to her front and holding the sweater out to him and he’s holding it up to see the whole thing and he has the biggest smile on his face and !!! “baby I love it!!! where did you find this???” and when she’s mumbling that she made it he’s even more !!!!!!! because she learned how to do this for him!! And so he’s squeezing her so tight and putting the sweater on immediately and maybe even gets a little teary and “sunflowers from my sunshine”:’) and you know he’d wear it every day for two weeks straight because he just can’t get enough 🐢

NOOOOOOO THIS IS SO CUTE :((((((( I can totally see it like im thinking something similar almost to The Rainbow Cardigan so like those pretty squares but like im thinking lots of green with sunflowers in the middle and its all big and slouchy and hers def has a lot of little like open frays and the sleeves are a little silly and the collar is uneven and all of that and like she has a good time making it bu as it comes together shes like :/ but she made it w the intention of bringing it to him so she doesn't want to like....not do it but shes def embarrassed at the idea of showing him that compared to the super beautiful things that he makes for her and the stuff he makes for himself:( but the idea of him being literally like overjoyed seeing it when she shows him like he completely lights up w bright eyes and a huge smile and dimples and just sunshine!!!!!!! this is amazing where did you find it!!!!! and her all :((( I made it thats why its a little weird and wonky I really tried but you now :( and that only makes him even more happy bc like :( he cannot BELIEVE she took the time to make something so lovely that he knew much have taken a while given the fact its so large and all and she did it all for HIM:(((((( like that really is his soulmate fr fr :( def putting it on immediately and getting so emotional over it like her hands made that for him and now he can always have it ;(((((( and him wearing it completely for the next like however long just bc he does it so much and doesn't want to be away from it:( and if hes not wearing it its hung up and treated so gently and perfectly:( and if he does mess w it a little like snags it or something he could totally easily fix it w his magic but he has her fix it instead bc he wants it to be completely her:( sooooooo in love w this:(

i have an idea very much inspired by friends first episode with alex being basically rachel and running away from her wedding with jason, she walks into a bar to find her high school best friend (chip), with his flatmate (laura) and her best friend (maggie)

laura works is a very successful chef and when she meets alex she greets her with "how you doin'?" because i can totally see her doing that when they introduce them and chip gives her a nudge meanwhile maggie rolls her eyes

chip does something really boring in a office, something no one out of his friends group know what he does for a living and of course he had a huge crush on alex when they were in high school, he is probably already divorced or at least with a very messy love life, he met laura when he embarrassed himself trying to hit on her and she told him she was a lesbian, "oh chuck" she told him patting his shoulder

maggie is the oldest of the group, she works as an university professor, she is feared by her students and she happens to have a spare room in her apartment but she is still mad at laura when she suggest that she could share her rent with alex "i don't want to babysit a child who just moved to nyc and doesn't know what to do with her life, no offence"

laura just loves to tease chip about his crush on alex, she can't help herself she just has too much fun to stop it, and at some point maggie is not that much annoyed by her new messy flatmate, she actually grows fond of her but she will never admit it to her face

at some point yanko and bradley get into the picture: they're both actors struggling to find a new project, he was the lead actor on a very successful soap opera and he met bradley on set when she played a very small role in his show

meanwhile she's looking for a new jon bradley works as a waitress in the same bar where the squad uses to hang out, one day she drops a cup of coffee on laura's shoes and in the desperate attempt to fix it they start talking and they realise they want to see each other again

imagine just being taken aback by boyfriend gray and telling him how beautiful he really is and he gets glazy eyes and a shy smile

“Baby, you’re so handsome.”

Grayson’s focus had been fixated on the tv, where the two of you are watching some nature documentary. You haven’t been able to stop touching him since you sat down, but Grayson doesn’t mind — physical touch is definitely his top love language. He hadn’t realized how engrossed in him you’ve been, much more intrigued by the way the light from the tv highlighted and shadowed the features on his face.

“Huh?” He diverts his attention down to where you’re snuggled up to his arm. He smiles and squeezes your hand trapped in his larger one. “That’s random. But thanks.”

You shrug, not even remotely trying to conceal your adoration for him. It’s not like you never express your attraction to him, but you’re not usually so... simp-y about it.

He is handsome, though. And you’re in the mood to let him know. “You tell me I’m beautiful all the time unsolicited. I can’t do the same for you?”

“Aw, you think I’m beautiful?”

His tone is joking, but you play into it anyways. “Of course I do. Inside and out.”

Grayson hums and starts sliding his free hand up and down your thigh, hooking his fingers around it and hauling you into his lap. “What else do you like?”

You grin and scoot as close to him as you can, settling your hands on his broad shoulders and giving them a firm, comforting squeeze. “Love how strong you are. Love how you annoy the shit out of me one minute but make me cry laugh the next. Love how warm you always are.”

You expect him to fire back with some cheesy ass line like ‘I am pretty hot’ or something of the like, but he just sighs happily and stares at you with an almost dreamy expression on his face. His hands rest on your hips, heat radiating through your body at his comforting touch, like they’re proving your last point. .

He just looks so sweet and soft and he’s all yours, and you can’t help leaning forward to drop a kiss to his button nose. “Love that you’re my person.”

Grayson’s lashes flutter closed and he smiles. “Yours.”
