Hamilton but it’s Naruto (Part 2)
Did any of you ever realize that the whole plot of Hamilton kind of fits in to Naruto?
Naruto and Alexander are orphans. As are Sasuke and Aaron. Completely different stories, all too similar in many different ways.
Eliza eventually fell for Alexander, like a love at first sight situation, close to Naruhina.
Then there’s the rivalry between Aaron and Alexander (Sasuke and Naruto). They’re friends, then enemies. You see where I’m going right?
Some of the song titles also fit:
Specifically, the song from Act 2, ‘Hurricane’
Shippuden - second part of Naruto
Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto no Uzushio) - whirlpool/storm
In this lyric, ‘I’ll write my way out,’ I can think of his famous ‘talk no jutsu,’ in which case, he talks his enemies (Nagato, Obito, etc.) out of doing what their doing.
Then in this other lyric: ‘When I was seventeen, a hurricane destroyed my town.’
I immediately rephrased it to ‘When I was a newborn, a fox destroyed my town.’
It doesn’t rhyme or fit, but it does add to this ‘Hamilton but it’s Naruto’ thing I got going on. For the next song, it was an cut song, ‘Congratulations.’
In this ‘au’ crap I thought of, I figured the best person to fit Angelica was Neji. No, they’re not siblings, but they were raised close enough to be siblings. But they’re not. Enough of that. If you watched the actual anime/read the manga, we all know how protective Neji was of Hinata, even willing to die for her. And that Neji wouldn’t hesitate to speak his mind or confront Naruto.
Yes, there’s more to this. ‘Satisfied and Helpless.’
Hinata is a descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki. Therefore, Neji is as well. In the actual anime, I personally think that a love square between Hinata, Neji, Sasuke and Naruto sounds more reasonable. Hinata ended up with Naruto - that also meant that Sasuke and Neji could of had a chance of potentially liking him.
Not saying it’s canon, but it is a possibility. Moving back to the whole song fiasco, in ‘Helpless:’
‘...and you walked in and my heart went boom... trying to catch your eyes from the side of the ballroom.’
Hinata spent all those years trying to get Naruto’s attention.
‘I have never been the type to try and grab the spotlight...’
A reference to her shyness and her place as a ‘should-be-main character’ that’s instead a fucking side-character?
In Satisfied, in the ACTUAL history, Angelica is already married to John Church, an English men. Not the point, though.
‘So this is what it feels like to match wits, (Both knowing that they were potential ‘failures’ as seen in the Chunin Exams.)
what the hell is the catch,
it’s the feeling of freedom, (You could see how Neji sort of lightened up after Hiashi apologized to him; almost like he was freed from the grudge - or when he died and his seal disappeared)
of seeing the light, (ded-)
it’s Ben Franklin with the key and the kite,
