I didn't.
I am very rare in that I did not experience medical violence.
Why? Because I learned what intersexuality was as a young age, and I actively fought against what doctors wanted to do to me. All the way down to legal research on what medical care minors can be forced into. I remember walking into that doctor's appointment with the state law written down that proved that if I did not consent they could not do surgery.
That is why intersex activism is important. It saved me and it will save more.

What you might NOT know is that the Ceo of the production company in charge of the OPLA & an executive producer was one of over 150 individuals signing & endorsing said letter. His name is Marty Adelstein.
Now I don't know about you, but this feels not only completely antithetical to the theme of the series, but extremely fucking gross. To have so much hate in your heart you want to take away a young woman's chance at an award for her raw & powerful documentation of living through a genocide because it makes it that harder to pretend the side you're backing are the good guys? Shameful.
I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do or saying everyone else involved is also a Zionist (though we know Taz Skylar has raised eyebrows before) but I think it's important we as a fandom know this before continuing to support OPLA. I think at this point we cannot ignore their connection to Isnotreal & everyone must at the very least be mindful of this going forward. I don't think it would be possible to remove this man considering how deeply involved he is. This whole thing makes me sick & frankly ruined all my excitement for s2.
