PIL - Decriminalization of consensual sex

A PIL came up for hearing yesterday before Supreme Court of India seeking decriminalization of the offence of Rape for indulging in consensual Sex by Adolescents above 16 years and below 18 years.

A bench comprising Hon'ble Mr. Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud J andHon'ble Mr. Justice J B Pardiwala J and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Manoj Misra J took note of the PIL filed by lawyer Harsh Vibhore Singhal in his personal capacity.

The bench has issued notices to Union ministries of law and justice and the home affairs and some other statutory bodies including the National Commission for Women for giving their reply on the issue of "consensual Sex by Adolescents above 16 years and below 18 years" is not rape.

So today I was hard making out with a guy (whom I have previously undertaken the sexytimes with) and we mutually agree we would like to have the sexytimes again so he says something like ‘hey, would you be comfortable not using a condom, I’d love to know what it feels like’ and I said ‘you know, I’m not actually comfortable with that’ and do you know what he does?

He says, ‘no problem, just thought I’d ask’, and gets up and gets a condom, and we proceed to have lovely sexytimes of mutual satisfaction and enjoyment. And nothing was weird because I said no to something, and he never made me justify reasoning and he didn’t mention it again and I was like

???? Because that’s getting pretty rare these days and that needs to be discussed. How many women (or men, no discrimination) are out there participating in consensual sex with a consenting partner but feeling obligated to push a boundary they don’t want to push? It’s not just a yes-no to sex kind of question. You are participating in a very intimate, deep experience with someone. Having the room to trust the other person(s) to be okay with you saying no to things is really significant and I feel like we don’t talk about it enough

So TL;DR my pals, there are men in the world that will not be giant bags of douche when you do not give them every single thing they would like and those are the ones we should marry.
