Pride -> Caterina, superiority complex: too proud to understand what she does isn't right, needs to control everything and everyone because she thinks she knows what's best for them...

AN: I had this idea after watching the most recent episode “Fools of Engagement.” In my head, Katie is conning Dob. The others figure it out, but they pretend to go along with the wedding in order to catch her in the act. However, they fail to tell Dob about this. This takes place after everything goes down and Dob finds out.

“When were you going to tell me?” The usual cheerful voice had more than an edge of forlornness to it as its owner leaned dramatically over the sea.
Merilwen shifted and stopped on her way up to the half-orc bard. “We were going to tell you, but there wasn’t any time.”
Dob sighed through his nose. “No, I don’t suppose there was,” he showed his teeth mirthlessly. “Not with Cor practicing for his best man speech and Egbert preparing the buffet.” He shook his head again. “And all that time, you knew my fianceé was planning my murder.”
Dob looked down at her, before looking back at the sea again. He took a moment to admire the scene reflected in the ocean before continuing. “You must have thought I was such an idiot,” he said.
“I was definitely confused,” she said wryly. “Actually, I thought she might have you under a spell, but no . . . it was all you.”
“You don’t need to remind me of that, I was there,” he said, straightening up suddenly.
“That was the worst part, you know,” she said conversationally. “That you really liked her.” She looked at her nails and started picking them. “You were gone, and then you were back, but it was like I didn’t know you anymore, because of how you were with her.”
He looked down at her quietly, trying to meet her eye but instead finding himself forced to look at her downturned head, before leaning down against the railing and looking back out at the sea.
“I’m sorry,” Merilwen told him. “I’m sorry that she was awful to you, and I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you. I just didn’t know how to make you believe me.” She kept her eyes fixed at the reflection of the sunset as it rippled on the water.
He turned to face her fully. “I never want to be somebody you feel won’t believe you,” he said. “Promise me you’ll tell me if something like this happens again.”
She stared out at the water quietly. The problem, she knew, was that he didn’t know what he was asking. To him, this was a request for honesty. For her, it was a request for something much, much deeper.
As the silence went on, Dob reached out, touching her shoulder and turning her to face him. He ran his eyes over her face, and then met her eyes for the first time since the truth about Katie was revealed. “Merilwen,” he said.
She sighed. She could never resist him. “I promise,” she told him solemnly, looking down at the sea.
He nodded decisively. “Thank you,” he said, squeezing her shoulder.
She reached up to put her hand on his, but he already turned back to the ocean and she found herself grasping at air.
“Good,” he said, dropping the last of Katie’s hair into the sea. “Let’s go on an adventure.”
Sorry, I could've phrased it better. I play this game and the devs said that this one character named Lucio would get a route but that it wouldn't be romantic? It's like.. gilded garbage. I'm not making sense but yeah..
Okay, I gotcha now. SoS isn’t quite like The Arcana. There are not character routes for the primary story. There’s the primary story, and then characters you can engage with on the way, either with a romance or friendship (or rivalry). For instance, you can try to repair your relationship with Lucifer, or not, and there will be events that can happen on that ‘path,’ but while doing or not doing so may effect the way endings play out, the base endings exist outside of who you want to be with (though some may not be achievable with poor relationships). Relationships, platonic and romantic, play a part and influence the route you are on, but while you can be on or not on a romance route, you will still proceed towards the end-game. (Hope that makes more sense!)

The way I see it, you could consider Leochlan/Laniwynn as a path, as there will be long-term consequences of either sleeping with them and/or choosing to try to have Nephilim with them. I’m not going to go into specifics, but suffice it to say that if you engage with a character in a flashback, expect to see something related to it pop up in the modern timeline.

So, the 911 fandom is at it again, with added revisionist history.
I’m not gonna address the current thing. I’m not an artist, I’m not in this fandom, and I don’t particularly give a flying fuck. I would hope that instead of call, conversation can be had, but I’m not going to sit here and correct people on that.
however, seen someone put up the whole thing about June 2022 and get everything wrong, and not take responsibility for what they caused, is infuriating. I don’t care about your favorite characters. I don’t care about any person in the 911 phantom, except for my friend. I personally popped a glass of champagne with the show got canceled because of the detrimental mental anguish that Remy has been suffering from, entirely caused by this Trainwreck of a fandom. And the only reason why I’m even here is to make sure that you people keep her name out of your mouth. But seeing someone act like they did everything right and not take responsibility for what went wrong, it’s not going to fly.
I can only speak for Remy, as I am a personal friend, and I have been by her side for most of this. I know for a fact that she had no idea what was going on, besides having an opinion that differed from the majority, an opinion that was built off of personal experience. It had nothing to do with the actors who portrayed characters. I actually know that her opinion has since changed, and she would rather agree that chimney was, for the most part, right… Until he threw a fucking punch and never fucking apologized for it, which is the only thing she’s ever fucking called him out for. You don’t punch family. But since we’re gonna ignore the rest of that, I’ll continue. she got put on that goddamn list and the harassment has never ceased. She has received death threats, she has received an attempt. She got put on that goddamn list and the harassment has never ceased. I don’t blame everything on the people who created that list. I don’t know who did that list, and I’m not gonna point fingers. People have taken it and ran it. And even though she was removed, that version is still out there and the consequences of being on that list been detrimental. she’s currently in therapy, for anxiety and depression. And the only reason why that started was because I walked in on her horrific panic attack that took her to the hospital. She hasn’t written anything since she finally got out of this fandom. That she wants to write just send her hyperventilating. Even her own original novel that she had been working on for years, she can’t even open the files. she doesn’t watch the show anymore,, she has done her best to block any mention of this fandom end of the show because of how much it hurts her
I don’t care about intention. I don’t care what anyone else has to say. But when you do an action, there is a reaction. And it’s something like this, you need to take responsibility. So did the people who made that list, I hope you don’t sleep well at night anymore, knowing exactly what has been done. And I know that Remy it’s just one person. Probably one of the more innocent of the group. But if someone throws herself into a fandom, both feet forward, the only thing any of you did was let her come her way burned.
Into those who actually care about Remy, who tried to reach out and got no answer, she’s doing better. She doesn’t really answer private messages or anything anymore, though I tell her because I have controller for social media, as ordered by her therapist for her continued healing. But she is doing better, she smiling, she’s found other shows and movies to fall in love with, but she will never be comfortable and phantom again. Not even phantoms that she was in previously.
I say all this with her permission. She’s actually in the room with me. She’s not about to say something herself for a lot of reasons, but she’s giving me carte blache when necessary. But she didn’t ask me to say one more thing. she’s not about to forgive or forget what has happened, but she has moved on. So to those who continue to bring it up, and those who still flood all in boxes… You can stop now. She really doesn’t care more. Just move the fuck on.
actually, there’s one other thing. She asked me to pass on to anyone that may see this post and is coming into the 911 fandom. Don’t. Go elsewhere. Do not fall into this fandom, because the moment something happens and you dare have a different opinion, you are thrown to the wolves. don’t be a victim. Stay strong and stay the fuck away.
