NG was recently accused of the SA of two young girls.. it's causing quite a stir and has become increasingly controversial. People who still dare to post about/enjoy Good Omens (myself, for example, and several of my mutuals that I know of) are being sent increasingly hateful asks/comments, even including slurs. I'm happy you've stayed out of it for this long, I suggest you continue to do so
Now I've made a bit of research, this whole situation is awful. To be honest I think of GO the show, with all the people who have worked on it, as a separate thing from the book, so I'll continue drawing and posting the comic.
I haven't got hate asks so far luckily but I'll turn off anon asks for a little bit, to be safe (sorry to anyone who wanted to leave one)
I really enjoyed "Sunlight in Motion" - it's one of the few fics where I recognise the name without needing a summary, so I'm curious about that Aftermath...
Thanks for the ask, Natsue! 💚 I appreciate you.
My "Sunlight in Motion" fic is near and dear to my heart, so after posting, I continued writing the aftermath in Wild's POV.
❗️Content and Trigger Warning❗️Putting the specifics of the content and trigger warning after the line break and in the tags, so I hopefully won't trigger anyone. Please stay safe and read responsibly. ❤️
❗️Content and Trigger Warning❗️Rape aftermath. Once again, nothing explicit, but please still heed the warnings and tags.
What he did remember are the scents - clove, old leather, sweat, something floral and too sweet. He remembered stone under his back and the heat of the sand on his face. He remembered their dirty words, their jokes, their laughs, their hands. He remembered screaming at first - not for help, but in rage. He remembered biting someone and the way it didn’t matter. He remembered he fought. He knows he fought, because his knuckles were raw, but he hadn’t been strong enough. He remembered being pressed down and pulled apart and not being able to feel anything except pressure and dust and heat and -
When it was over, he didn’t cry. Not right away.
He wished he could pull his ripped tunic back over himself as if it would protect him and his dignity that he felt like he no longer had. He’d crawled to the shadow of a ruined wall or maybe he was dragged and left there. It all blurred together.
Now, the heat didn’t burn anymore - he just felt… Actually, he didn't know what he felt. Everything was just so cold and numb and far away and underwater. So he folded in on himself, forehead on his bruised knees, and let the wind bury him in dust.
Maybe if he stayed still enough, he’d disappear completely.
[...]
Wild stayed where he’d been placed, half-curled beneath the blanket. Twilight returned with another waterskin, the slosh faint but distinct.
The first touch was tentative - a damp cloth brushed across his temple, then down his cheek. Cool against heat, stinging faintly where the skin had split. Wild blinked, slow and dazed, eyes sliding over to find Twilight kneeling beside him. His brother’s hands moved carefully, deliberate and wordless.
The water darkened what it touched, cutting through dust and grime. Twilight wrung the cloth again and passed over Wild’s neck, his shoulders, his arms. Every motion was the same; gentle and precise. Wild’s body reacted before his mind did: a twitch at the cold, a shallow intake of breath, a faint tremor.
He felt the grit lift from his skin, the cool damp trail it left behind. It should have been a relief. It wasn’t. It only made him notice how filthy he still was, how much he wanted to vanish between one breath and the next. Twilight’s hand lingered once, pressing briefly against his shoulder before continuing with grim focus.
Little by little, the smell of dust gave way to water and leather. Twilight worked until the cloth came away almost clean. By then Wild’s eyes had glazed again; the edges of the world melting into darkness.

Thanks for the ask once again and I hope you enjoyed! 💚
in part. the way that twitter stans talk about things is just so baffling to me. I'm not going to discuss it in depth like I didn't her accusations, but when I heard what she said I thought man thats awful I want to hear how he responds to this... and after reading his document it raised a lot of questions and I'm interested in how she is going to respond to it. the way those stans five hours ago made huge political statements about dropping him and are now making opposite statements about shaming the community and are immediately going back into stan mode and saying they hope he gets a hug... it's just incredibly strange.
jesus christ the keepers (netflix) was disturbing as fuck. fascinating, but not the kind of fascinating you'd rewatch. it was awful. "what do you want, a boat?" like what the fuck. just when you think you know the kind of evil that your fellow humans are capable of. and the enabling and hiding of the worst side of humanity by an institution that claims to be of christ.
"it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones."
and by extension, i think it's safe to say that this applies to the churches and organizations that know and allow for it to happen. moving abusers from parish to parish to hide their crimes. people knew, and yet the abusers still walked within their churches. they'd heard complaints and knew what had happened and they let him go on abusing without consequence.
and what brave people it takes to go before a camera and detail the abuse you suffered. to go before a court and detail the abuse you suffered. to tell the world your most awful experiences, because you do not have justice, and other victims, some surviving, some not, also do not have justice.
