Ha, that’s easy! That title goes to cone snails (genus Conus). This post goes into some good detail, but in short: they have a wickedly fast and glove-piercing sting, the most venomous among them can drop a human dead in minutes or even seconds, and they produce so many unique toxic compounds that they’re classified as their own whole thing (conotoxins). Every species has a unique cocktail of conotoxins which makes their venom both terrifyingly effective and borderline impossible to produce antivenom against. Some even inject other toxic compounds on top of everything else, because nobody does overkill like Cone Snail That Kills You Very Dead. Thankfully, they’re marine species with distinct appearances and known geographic ranges, so the odds of you coming across one are low if you aren’t actively seeking them out.
