Review your thoughts and emotions emerging from them. We have 60 - 70 thousands thoughts every day, and 90% of them are the same as from the day before (source: dr. Dispenza). You and your personality create your reality. If you don’t like the reality, you must know that you are its creator, have control over it and you can always change it - reshape your thoughts, be intentional, every day, about everything, don’t let your body rule your mind and you (!) and create reality for you. Your brain has its habits, creates the same thoughts, thoughts which lead to the same decisions, decisions to experiences, experiences to emotions, and those emotions lead then to the same thoughts again.
We don’t have control over events, but we have over our interpretation on them. You have to always turn them into lesson, something positive.
Remember, you are not alone, we are all connected in this vast beautiful Universe.
Today's Conversation With God
Me: God?
God: Yes my child?
Me: I’m tired
God: What’s draining you?
Me: Everything…
God: I know
Me: I don’t think I can handle life
God: I don’t think you can either.
Me: You don’t?
God: I don’t. How do you think you’ve gotten this far? I’ve been helping you. Whenever you rest in me, you feel stronger and capable. But whenever you think you have it all together, you begin to feel burdened.
Me: *thinking*
God: Think of any past situation that you thought you could never survive, but did.
Me: I didn’t think I would get through them.
God: You don’t think you can get through this but you will. Let me be your strength.
Me: How do I do that?
God: Rest in my abilities. Come to me.
Me: But i’m already coming to you.
God: But your mind isn’t coming with you. You’re worried about “everything.” Let go of what’s draining you. You can’t become drained by something you’re not holding on to.
Me: You’re right. I guess I thought I could do it by myself.
God: Remember what Paul said?
Me: Yea! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
God: You can.
Me: Thanks God!
God: You’re welcome

Finally jumped on board and got #themessage translation. I'm in love. Why have I waited so long to supplement my readings with this version?! Galatians 5 in this translation is already blowing my mind. #ConversationswithGod L O V E O N E A N O T H E R (at Los Angeles, California)
There Is Only One of Us: What That Really Means (And How It Changes Everything)
ASCETICISM IN THE HOUSEHOLDER'S JOURNEY: TRANSFORMING MUNDANE CHALLENGES INTO SPIRITUAL SANCTITY
The path of the householder, though rich in its potential for spiritual growth, presents a great challenge amidst the myriad distractions and worldly concerns that characterize everyday life. In contrast to the ascetic, who is free from the entanglements of material existence, the householder navigates a complex web of responsibilities, relationships, and obligations. It is within this intricate tapestry that the true test of spiritual depth unfolds.
The Ascetic's Simplicity:
The ascetic, unburdened by the complexities of the householder's life, enjoys a simplicity that allows for unwavering focus on prayer, meditation, and contemplation of the divine. With the basic necessities provided and minimal worldly distractions, the ascetic's path may seem straightforward, offering an environment conducive to recognizing the divine in every aspect of existence.
The Householder's Challenge:
Contrastingly, the householder faces the intricate dynamics of familial and societal responsibilities. The simple act of providing for a family introduces a multitude of concerns—financial, emotional, and physical. Yet, it is precisely within these challenges that the potential for spiritual elevation lies. Seeing the divine in the mundane tasks of caring for a family, paying bills, and managing life's complexities transforms the ordinary into the sacred.
Finding the Divine in Daily Life:
The essence of the householder's path is revealed in the ability to recognize the divine amidst the chaos of life. Changing a baby's diaper at 3 A.M., paying bills, and attending to the needs of loved ones become opportunities for spiritual growth. The hand of God is evident not only in joyous moments but also in times of adversity—illness, job loss, a child's fever, or a parent's pain. It is through these challenges that saintliness is cultivated, transforming the ordinary struggles into sacred encounters.
Embracing God in the Midst of Struggle:
Acknowledging the weariness and fatigue that can accompany the householder's journey, the promise of relief lies in aligning with a divine perspective. The call to follow a spiritual path is an invitation to live in a God space, where the struggles cease to be burdensome. Embracing a mindset that sees events as blessings, regardless of their nature, elevates the ordinary to the extraordinary.
The path of the householder, with its multifaceted challenges and distractions, offers a unique opportunity for spiritual evolution. While the ascetic finds simplicity in isolation, the householder discovers sanctity amidst the complexities of daily life. The true essence of saintliness emerges not in the absence of struggle but in the ability to perceive the divine in every aspect of existence. When one follows the divine path, the struggles transform into blessings, revealing the profound interconnectedness of the ordinary and the sacred.
