See how it goes for a few weeks & take note of how you feel then you can report back to your psych Latuda is still a new medication, though I'm not sure when it was released; the only reason my insurance covers the name brand version is because it has no generic yet. It's an atypical antipsychotic that's supposed to help with my mood. The problem with trying the morning dose for a few weeks is I can't afford to have it make me feel even worse, especially on days I work. Even it making me so much more exhausted and sick yesterday, on one of my days off, was HELL because my bitch of a mother forced me to go out for the day and then I couldn't even go to my grandma's, where I could have at least laid down/rested/slept in peace. Plus, anxiety is a possible side effect, so I have no clue why my psychiatrist would suggest taking another 20 mg in the morning to combat anxiety, especially when taking 20 mg (when I was originally prescribed 40 mg, but that was way too strong) around 6 PM had me falling asleep for a bit around 9/9:30 PM, so I had to take it at bedtime with the Trazodone. So yeah. Thanks for the suggestion, though. 🙆😘
