my darlin’ your letters are like a sort of intermittent song heard in the woods at midsummer. Full of quaint trills and curious chirps & nothing of bitterness in them.

We know that colors effect us on an emotional, mental, and physical level. These changes occurs when light enters the eye and affects the hypothalamus portion of the brain and the pituitary gland. We can, to some extent, predict these responses and use that information to heal imbalances, identify problem areas, and provide insight into ourselves. This is the basis for color magic in general. When combined with artistic materials and processes we are practicing, what I call Color Craft. I use this term to differentiate this major component of art witchcraft from it’s more general color association counterpart in other pagan paths.
Before we breakdown each color we need to first understand that each hue is in itself a spectrum. There exists both the Yin and Yang, Warm and Cool, Passive and Active states, both Enhancing and Diminishing qualities. We can apply this to divination to provide more accurate interpretations and throughout our lives to create a harmonious balance in our environment.
*I will be utilizing the Additive Color Wheel for determining complimentary colors because I have found this to provide the most effective color harmonies. The traditional Red-Yellow-Blue Color Wheel is for pigment mixing and is less relevant to our current study*
RED (Complimentary Color - Turquoise)
Positive Aspects
This is a highly motivating color. It stimulates our appetite and get’s us up and going. As the first color in the spectrum, and the highest vibrational frequency (625-740nm), we often associate it with firsts, beginnings, and fresh starts. It has a primal energy, often directly correlated to dominance, reproductive success, and testosterone levels in the animal kingdom. We innately understand the strength and power of this hue but it is also the color associated with physical and passionate love, friendliness, and forgiveness.
Negative Aspects
At it’s worst this color comes with a destructive and dangerous energy. Violence, rudeness, rage, and an overbearing quality can come from too much of this color. It’s intensity can manifest in a sense of resentment or a desire to revolt.
Physical Effects
We typically view red personality types to be assertive and extroverted. This color stimulates the production of adrenaline, assists in blood circulation, and in the production of hemoglobin for new red blood cells. It raises blood pressure, promotes heat in the body, stimulates the nervous system and has been found to be effective in treating various forms of numbness and paralysis. Other health conditions that have benefited from this hues powerful presence include anemia, the common cold, and pneumonia.
This is a great color to use for motivation as it reignites our drive to be physically active. This combined with the building and strengthening effects it has on our bodies make this an excellent choice for coping with depression. Red would not be a good choice for treating fever, hypertension, or any inflammatory conditions such as swelling, open wounds, burns, or bruises.
These are positive statements that you can repeat regularly in your conscious thoughts in order to attract and create desired results. I’ve included a few here for examples but feel free to create your own to suit your specific needs.
1. I am motivated and energized by the color red.
2. I am strong and determined through the power and energy of red.
3. I am more assertive and confident through the color red.
4. The color red fills my body with new life and renewed strength.

You've been gone for two years and you're already getting a ton of asks.
I assume you’re including conversations I’ve had with old friends since not including this post I’ve only received two asks since I came back. Nevertheless, speaking honestly, the number of old and new friends that have reached out even though I’ve only being back for two days has been heartwarming. As in, it’s made me pretty emotional—stomach butterflies and everything—that people I knew back then not only remember me, but are happy to see me again even though I disappeared for so long. Part of the reason I want to finish what I started is because of that warm reception; another part of it is guilt from being gone. I did not expect in any way to be readily accepted back into the fandom by my old friends—I can’t speak to newer members, but I hope they don’t mind my reintroduction. Regardless, the reception I’ve received so far has been awesome. So thank you. All of you.
Balance is the name of the game for Green personalities. Not prone to extreme mood swings or flights of whimsy, Green people are well grounded, conscientious, and hard workers. At work they are efficient and not involved in the office gossip. Their homes are generally tidy, situated in a more open environment (coastal or rural), and filled with earthy materials like clay, wood, stone, and lots of plants. Green personalities are typically seen as sincere, stable, comforting people to be around. Their greatest strength can also be their greatest weakness in that the steady nature of these personalities doesn’t lend itself to impetuousness or spontaneity very often and if not regularly self analyzing they can get stuck in a rut and feel trapped or unable to express themselves.

Green (Complimentary Color - Magenta)
Positive Aspects
Green immediately draws up imagery of new life, growth, adaptability, space, and freedom. These are fundamental qualities for Green. Their sense of justice and perfect balance results in very caring, cooperative, generous, and understanding individuals. Green seeks to create safe, well protected environments and those of this personality type generally have a solid plan for where life will take them. They’ve often been told “You have a good head on your shoulders”. They are studious in their approach to life, always needing to know the nitty gritty details. They are innately problem solvers and tend to live by their own well defined principles.
Negative Aspects
Green’s negative traits include jealousy, envy, and suspicion. Stagnation and indifference can also be manifestations of green energy run a muck. Green personalities struggle to express themselves and have no tolerance for meaningless chit chat or social niceties which can often lead to being perceived as rude or inconsiderate. Being overly cautious, materialistic, or greedy is also definitely within the green spectrum.
Physical Effects
Green is an incredibly healing color. It has a direct connection to the heart and lungs and has an incredible balancing, restorative, rebuilding energy to it. Green makes a great boost to your workouts as it helps to rebuild muscles, skin, and tissue. It also helps eliminate toxic materials within the body, relieves tension, and lowers blood pressure. This is the perfect color for physical therapy as it embodies growth and restoration. Green can correct hormonal imbalances as well as strengthening your immune and nervous systems.. Due to Green’s associations with open spaces and the lungs it can be very effective at treating chest conditions like asthma or chronic bronchitis. Because Green has both an energizing and calming effect it can help to emotionally balance traumatic situations as well as treat shock.
Through the color Green I carefully and capably create a plan for success.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that my new piece is up in my shop and you can get all kinds of cool things. The notebook is one of my favs, I think it would make such a cute little herbal grimoire!
* As a special feature all the mugs (travel, metal, and regular coffee mugs) have the image on one side and the list of some of Lavender’s magical properties on the reverse. Giving that cup of sleepytime tea an extra little boost of relaxing magic!
mabelsguidetolove is a pinecest shipper idk if u knew that ...? but in the post u reblogged they even said ‘Mabel and Dipper go on a date’ so
Hey there. I’d like to preface what I’m about to say by explaining my current physical condition. I’ve been up for almost two days straight working interchangeably on a 50 page legal commentary, a (now complete) analysis of Dipper Pines’ characterization, and the first gif set I’ve made in over two and a half years. I’m not just tired, I’m exhausted—in the purest meaning of the word.
Well at least, I was exhausted. After reading your two messages, of which I only feel the need to respond to this one, I am no longer tired.
I am very awake, and I. Am. Furious.
Now that you understand my current physical and emotional state, I will explain why I feel the way I do after reading your asks. First, I’d like to clarify that my fury was not sparked by your insinuation that I openly support sexually abusive [intrafamilial] relationships.
But to be clear: I do not support any kind of abusive relationship.
I understand that there are many people who find pinecest grossly offensive. That is why I try my hardest to ensure no content related to the pairing shows up on this blog. As you seem to have discovered by your second post, I do, in fact, have another blog that features such content that can be accessed through this blog. But, out of genuine concern that a person adverse to that blog’s content might accidentally click on to it, I created a splash page that warns everyone who clicks that link of the nature of the content of my secondary blog and requires them to click a second link in order for them to proceed to the blog.
I am acutely aware that content involving pinecest is potentially harmful to victims of [intrafamilial] sexual abuse. That is why I created the splash page. That is why I try my hardest to never reblog content that even implies pinecest to this blog. As further evidence of my dedication to segregating potentially harmful content from this blog, I’d like to point out that the link to my other blog contained within my blog description (which shows up in the sidebar when you click my icon) also links to the splash page.
Now that I have clarified where I stand, I will now explain why I am upset.
Your ask does not direct demands of me, but I can see only one course of action to take in response to it. Having pointed out, correctly I should note, that I failed to see the “Mabel and Dipper go on a date” language in mabelsguidetolove’s post, it appears that you wanted me to confirm your finding at the very least. Further, your use of sarcasm suggests that you not only didn’t think very much of my intelligence, but also expected me to apologize for my mistake. Whether you expected me to delete the post, which would require me to answer this ask by stating mabelsguidetolove’s post was offensive, has no place on this blog, and will be removed, is not clear based on the language of your this ask. But it is very much clear from the language of your second.
And that, Anon, is why I am upset.
I have no qualms apologizing for the accidental posting of pinecest content to this blog. To prove this, I’d like to say that I’m sorry that I let this post slip past me. I didn’t mean to offend you, my apologizes. I promise, in earnest, that I will meticulously read every text post I come upon in its entirety from now on to ensure that I find insidious content not visible at a cursory glance.
I will never, however, engage in brigading against another blogger.
I did not start, and more recently continue, blogging to participate in the public denunciation of others according to what fictional characters they choose to ship together. I do not know @mabelsguidetolove very well, but I have absolutely no reason to deride her. Nor will I delete her post from this blog, because that would imply that she is the person who acted improperly in this situation. As stated previously, the blame lies with me.
I’d like to respectfully request that the remainder of followers refrain from engaging in the behavior this anon has engaged in. I enjoy anonymous asks, but I do not enjoy anonymous requests to attack people.
[Edit: thank you @twistedvirgorivaliant for pointing out a sentence that could easily be construed poorly].
Would you sell your print of the Stomachaches poster? Because I'd love to have it as a poster tbh
Ahhhh sorry! The answer is no, for several reasons:
The Frank Iero logo is trademarked;
The painting featured in the print, “Flowers in a Glass Vase” by Rachel Ruycsh, is copyrighted and the license I purchased when I bought a high resolution copy of the painting to make the poster is for non-commercial use only;
I’m a law student, and being caught breaking any law could prevent me from obtaining my law license even if I pass the bar exam (yeah… they don’t have to give it to you even if you pass both the bar and graduate from law school);
I’d have to charge like $100 due to the cost of printing; and
even if I wasn’t a law student I would still be super uncomfortable selling something derived from someone else’s intellectual property without their permission.
I know that sucks, and I’m really sorry. I mean the whole reason I made the poster in the first place was because of the lack of Frank Iero merch. And while I’d love to release the full sized pdf, I don’t want someone else to take my design and sell it either.
