The chaos of 2020 made me look deep and question what I was really hoping to achieve with my musical. I spent most of this year rewriting and reimagining it until I stripped it down to one character to hone in on the storytelling and the one thing we all needed the most: authentic connection. All, while playing our South American folk-pop score. I’m excited to share that after months of looking for options, @frankirmser @overyonder_ and I found a way to present the latest iteration of the script in person, for a very small audience. This Friday 16 at 4pm @joropocitizen and I will perform #SouthMusical (formerly ‘Back Home’) in a safely-distanced, intimate, acoustic show at @thecoreclub rooftop terrace.
