director's commentary for the first story in conorach when merlin has to remind harry exactly of who they are, what they carry.

The first story in the Coronach series, Fortune Has Smiled on Those Who Wake Anew, was supposed to be short, dirty tentacle smut.  Instead, I found myself doing a lot of world-building (sound familiar?).  The plan had always been for Merlin’s tentacle creature to wake Harry’s memories by fucking him, I just hadn’t planned on giving those creatures so much personality!  They were just supposed to be there for the smut, but all of a sudden, Merlin’s Emrys has a voice and it’s driving the plot, so if Emrys has a voice, then so does Galahad.  And when Galahad wakes, he’s not a monster, but something completely essential to who and what Harry is.  Since the story is told from Merlin’s POV, we don’t actually hear Galahad (that comes in one of the follow on stories), but I think we have a strong sense of what it is, who it is.

La version ici de l’ensemble Pygmalion de Pichon a remplacé le piano par des cors et des harpes. La mélodie se fait plus douce, plus liquide, comme le Rhin célébré dans ce disque harmonieux dédié aux fiancées malheureuses du fleuve mythique.
