Additional thought, since I'm going back through tags atm: Re: frankensteining together a body for Curie

If he's making a new body from scratch, then he'd need dna like you said, but how to go about getting some? Does he find some random person's dna? Get a sample from the institute? Use the dna of someone he knows? It reminded me of the institute sims display stuff, so it would be kinda fucked up if he just ended up mixing some of his dna with Darryl's and grew Curie's new body from that (or the parts needed, if he went the cyborg route)

Also has the potential for her to just be a mix of some other people that he knows, or a random sequence from the institute. Would also be interesting if he tried all the alternatives first, but eventually ran out of samples, didnt want to go through the effort of getting more, figured he could just use his, but then soon realized he'd have to modify it with smth else to avoid some very obvious issues

And the final idea: they decide to just use whatever is left at the institute to make her a body, but someone forgot to switch out the dna sequence loaded up, and it happened to be one of the combinations from when he and Darryl last looked through them (or it had that sequence saved and just loaded it up at random)

I’m sure there’d be trial and error involved due to stability issues and whatnot, so I could see him trying out DNA from all kinds of people. Possibly even leaning towards using that of recently deceased ones so it doesn’t feel like he’s cloning someone alive and getting into a morally gray area there (at least using Hector logic)

It’s really funny to imagine Hector using his and Darryl’s DNA and inadvertently creating a more or less biological child for them

I wish I remembered what the movie was in which I learned that fact but I can’t... All I know is that Father Figure and Boy were standing by a lake and the Boy busts out the duck fact out of the blue right before the scene ends. I liked the movie and I’m sure I watched it multiple times but every time that scene came up I was like 😬 this is unnecessary

I was thinkin.... Darryl's got her own dog that ends up having puppies with Dogmeat, so Archer might like a couple out of a litter, or maybe a whole litter itself? Was also thinking she might be able to get a couple dogs from him for the minutemen, maybe in exchange for some puppies 👉👈

Oh man, Arch is always looking for a good source of puppies. He’s very prideful of his animals, and he knows inbreeding has lots of negative consequences so outside puppies?? From a trustworthy source??? Hell yeah! I’m sure he and Darryl would be able to work out a nice little dog trading system. And of course he can train dogs to be more than just guards! Medical dogs, hunting dogs, messenger dogs, heck she need a dog to specifically sniff out mutfruit? Cause that can be done!
