We now have a Blini to go with Waffle and Crepes.
Blini thoughtfully posed between two corys to show how big she isn't.
Blini beside Chrysis
Life is good when you have your own personal shiny rock and a loach wafer.
Some more gouache studies! In order from top to bottom there's a green tiger barb, a peppered cory, and a juli cory!
References below the cut :>
Apologies for a lack of art - I’ve been setting up tanks and I got Pygmy Cory the other day and I’ve honestly just been sat watching them for days???
Theyre the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and I love their little whiskers (;_;)
The corys are very busy this morning! They enjoyed the big waterchange I did on Friday and they felt like today was the right time to try and make some babies! One baby cory has grown up in my tank so far, of course I wouldn't mind if they manage to do it again. They put eggs in different places and there's quite a few plants, so hopefully that's a good start and they'll make it.
I'm not actively breeding corys, but if a baby or two hatch and survive in the community I'll be really pleased.
Love this tank and all its inhabitants, it brings me lots of joy, I didn't realise how much I missed it when I didn't have it around.
Bonus photos of Luna trying to be a catfish and share the algae pellet, but she ends up just getting confused and looking under nearby rocks for worms while the cats eat the pellet
Rubras getting prettier by the day! There's a big auction coming up in two months so I'll be taking some there if you're in Australia in the ACT region. To ease stress as they're getting bigger I popped a couple of the biggest boys into the big community tank with Ruby. One was so eager he jumped out of the acclimatizing cup and promptly began mating with Ruby before I could even get the other fellow in the water.
...I bought some more Sterbai cories as well. How could I not? Look it its little face! I'm so broke now.
Everyone comes out for food, even Patches who still isnt looking great. At least he's eating.
While Luna waits patiently in the net.
The net is for her safety, she doesnt attack any other fish but she will overeat until she's bloated if I don't stop her.
