Oof. An attempt at a Frankie (inspired??) cosplay. It did not go the way I planned 💀 lol.
I tried to keep going and added lipstick, then I quickly decided that it was not a look lmao.
It was giving more Sally from nightmare before Christmas than Frankie lol.

I also started breaking out near the end even though I’ve used this paint before?? Idk maybe this look just wasn’t for me today lol, but I’m gonna try again another time. Maybe with different paint lmao.
(ID in alt!)
I’m crying, this is so funny 😂
What fucking interests would connect me to this guy?!
I feel like I need a restraining order or a crucifix to save my ass!!
It's Michael Myers' anime phase!!
It's scarier than the original!!
Yall wanna see the shitty "Zebra" tail I made when I was.... IDK late teens early twenties? I found it digging through an old tote of halloween junk. Like way before I bothered to find good tutorials on tail making on youtube.
1) way too long.
2) not enough hair
3) you can't see it in the photo but the raw edges are visible right by the floof at the end. I didn't hem them. If the fabric wasn't fleece those edges probably would shred and have lots of loose strings.
4) I didn't even make a belt loop! I just stitched up the end and safety-pinned it to my outfit. Not a good idea. Puts holes in your clothes and likely to rip both the tail and your clothes if some jerkwad person pulls it really hard or you get caught on something.
5) That poof at the end is an old scrap of real fur my parents had lying around. Probably from a jacket or something... just no.. X-X not that I have anything against natural materials but it's realky inaccurate and just cartoony.
6) It's not even tapered. Just the same length of tube all the way down. Which is fine for feline or maybe unicorn tails but not for a zebra.
7) I think it feels understuffed. Maybe I ran out of stuffing? *shrugs*
I am by NO means a good crafter. My stuff still looks like hot garbage compared to tail-making pros but this is one of those "hating your old art once you get better" things. Nowadays I'd probably forgo the printed fabric at least paint it to make more convincing markings on a zebra'a tail. And instead of fur, I'd probably go with synthetic hair and weft it because it's cheap and easy to find. And again more accurate.
Of course I do not have the attention span for a project like that, unfortunately. But I do know how I would improve it.
Ordered a hot pink feather hair clip off of Amazon
I was expecting this...
And I was promised this...
But in reality, I got this...
So i made this...
Nightmare fuel
Nunca tengo presupuesto para cosplay pero hago ediciones chafas con aplicaciones (?)
