Third Offer
I got the third offer today. They are offering $3,000 more than the fellowship and they did mention a non-compete agreement in the offer. I am talking with them on Monday so I can ask more questions then. Unless they counter offer it will likely come down to work culture and nature of the work/ work opportunities. I think I’m better with the fellowship. It doesn’t have a non-compete agreement and the work per dollar ratio would be better even though the pay is a little less. I don’t want a job that may drain mental focus from my own scholarship and advocacy work. I have some big plans for the coming year too to knock many papers off my to-write list and launch a new project that merges my scholarship with my activism. But I do really love that they are a social justice-oriented program evaluation company and they are doing a lot of really exciting stuff that I would love to be a part of.
