I was listening to Test Drive and then I realized it should have a lyrics (ik about the test drive epic version with the lyrics and stuff but I just wanted lyrics for the og). So I tried. And tried. And I just couldn’t. And I realized that test drive perfectly shows Hiccup and Toothless’s bond. When you listen to the Httyd soundtrack, you get the feeling like you’re flying and that’s what Hiccup feels. Not to mention Toothless wouldn’t be flying without Hiccup either. So they’re both free, exactly like what you’re feeling when you listen to Test Drive. It’s got the highs and lows and thrills and when they fall, the other is there to catch them. It’s so so so beautiful. The best part? The real reason I can’t make lyrics to it, no matter how hard I try, is because their bond and friendship is so unique and so iconic it’s literally indescribable. No words or rhyme could explain their soulmatism and that’s probably why Test Drive is better without lyrics.
