19: Are there any particular headcanons or theories of yours that found their way into the fic?

My favorite headcanon that honestly might be real canon if you think about the logistics of their career paths (I guess that's just me defining a theory lmao)... is that Jou and Taichi are the first humans to live in the Digital World full time. I think there's so much potential for hijinks, but also for growth.

I've written five fics that incorporate this headcanon (pretty much any fic I've written that includes both Jou Kido and Taichi Yagami), but the only uhhh non-shippy one would be Chapter 3 of "Somewhere Only We Know", which can be read as a standalone story for the most part.

Like when Taichi has a bad day at work and just walks in through the front door of Jou’s clinic. Jou rushes over to him and Taichi just slumps into Jou’s chest. Jou gets a face full of Taichi’s hair and Taichi finds comfort grabbing onto the well worn fabric of Jou’s doctor’s coat
