- Remember I said a collab was coming? Welp, this is how it turned out with the help of my good friend @madamozell69 on Instagram. I did sketch, lineart, colours and background while Mada decided to make it lineless which is totally fine cuz I like both versions of the official cover. She did the whole shading. She's an amazing detailist and also a great shading artist! ♡

Not 100% satisfied with how I incorporated the text here, but I’m pretty pleased with the rest of it. This looks like a halfway legit comic cover!

This September, I got really interesting requests. One of them was to come up with a design for a children’s book cover about AI - but without using cyborgs.

I had a particular style in mind, inspired by some cubist artworks, and it was especially challenging, because I aspired to avoid line art. When I first worked on it, I wasn’t too pleased with how it turned out, but looking at it with a fresh eye after a day or two, I found I really liked it after all, even though there’s still a lot to work on. 

Also, unfortunately, this style isn’t very forgiving of wonky perspective. But I consoled myself with the thought that it’s all about the fun of trying something new, right?

I tried to stay true to the AI theme by incorporating relevant technical utilities, websites and posters, because honestly, AI is everywhere in our daily lives now, even though we may not perceive it consciously.
