Basically I've been told they can't/won't put me back on furlough.
I've spoken to my other director, I highlighted that I don't feel the risk I am taking on public transport is worth the fact I'm coming in to work just to clean while others just sit on their phones.
I highlighted that I feel I'm very alone in my opinion of how seriously covid should be taken and that the other director seems overly relaxed in processes and guidelines we are meant to be following.
I expressed that I feel my opinions and suggestions are unwanted and ignored and that I feel constantly anxious and have been struggling with panic attacks most mornings.
I asked if I could be put back on furlough and was advised that I wouldn't be. He kept using the word "can't" but the reality is he isn't willing to, he kept bringing up the fact that if I go back on he can't have me back for 3 weeks and I am starting to suspect that the manager is refusing to come back.
I feel as though I am totally losing control of my emotions.
I hate the company I work for, from the initial reaction from head office when covid made its mark, to the lack of care in following strick PPE procedures, or any concern for the wellbeing of someone who is simply telling you they are really struggling to cope.
Being told they are planning to start taking a more relaxed approach to what is considered an emergency, so they can start making more sales makes me sick.
Honestly I don't know how key worker are doing it. I'm really struggling to keep my emotions under control, I'm struggling to fully understand my feelings towards all this. I feel like an idiot and a baby for being like this right now because I know I'm not the only one in a situation where they feel stuck.
