Vernon Boyd x Cora Hale

Boyd saw her as his other half. Not his better half but his other half. The person who understood him in a way no one else possibly could. Cora was that for him and she always would be.

Boyd's quiet nature is so similar to Cora's, though Cora is more one for confrontation and Boyd would rather let things simmer

Hand-holding and physical touch are extremely important to the two of them, and they both enjoy having some sort of physical connection between the two of them

Cora loves working out and running in the morning, and oftentimes Boyd will join her, but not all the time, he likes a lazy morning every once in a while

Boyd gets a far away look in his eyes. "She was...." He drags in a breath and his face goes tight. "Alive. She was alive and she was a fighter and she was everything she was in there, only she was free." “We should leave.” Cora announces suddenly, ignoring the tightening in her throat and the burn in her eyes. She’s well accustomed to ignoring her grief. “We can go anywhere, Boyd. We can be free for her.”

Boyd turns to her, nodding slowly, eyes brimming with tears. “She’d like that.”  From the other side, Erica smiles, wiping tears from her own eyes. Pride surges, coupled with love for both of them. “Run.” She whispered, despite the fact that nobody would hear her, “Run before this town kills you too.”
