New Republic fleet over Chandrila
The FarStar was a heavily modified CR90 corvette most notably used by the New Republic. A former Republic diplomatic vessel, it was modified for combat use in the Clone Wars, and then again for Imperial use. The New Republic acquired the ship and used it to hunt down the Imperial warlord who used to own it. Its extensive modifications included more weaponry and a moderately large hangar bay.

Tantive IV was a CR90 corvette most famously used by Princess Leia Organa at the beginning of the Galactic Civil War. A fully functional diplomatic vessel, the Tantive IV was also equipped with powerful engines and some defensive equipment, so as to protect its passengers.

CR90 Corvettes were light, fast starships popular with independent groups of spacers, including pirates and the Rebellion. Their engines and armament made them a force to be reckoned with, and were known colloquially as Rebel Blockade Runners for their efficiency in escaping danger.
