Arbitrary Hilarious Death
Like other prompts on this list, this one is slightly more on the goofy side of things. This prompt covers any sudden, unexpected death which is written in a way that is perceived as funny by the characters or the audience. It doesn't need to be foreshadowed, but it most definitely can be. The element of hilarity may appear in terms of being crack, or serious if so desired. This doesn't mean other characters can't mourn or understand the depth of the situation. It only entails that at least one element of the death is portrayed as comedic or perceived as such.
Take Eleanor Shellstrop's death in the series The Good Place as an example. Her death is a serious event and treated as such, but it's framed in a relatively comedic light. However, if one is going for pure crack, there is no compromise to reach between solemnity and hilarity. Think of any death in the Looney Tunes, for instance. As long as there's at least some comedy to the death it falls under this prompt.
