I know that Season 2 of Hazbin officially confirms that Emily and Sera are sisters, but in my Cradle Will Fall Human AU, I am sticking with the whole concept that Sera is Emily's mother who claims to be her sister to avoid feeling like she's being judged for having a child out of wedlock.

In CWF, while Lute still wants revenge on Hell, and particularly on Charlie for her part in Adam's death (or what Lute perceives as her part), when it comes to Vaggie, she wants her back. The events of "The Show Must Go On" made Lute start to realize that her belief that her daughter was dead and being puppeted by some sadistic demon to mock her was very wrong...And while she is horrified to realize what she did (and tried to do) to her own daughter, she also is unable to fully accept the responsibility as of the timeline of Season 2. She convinces herself that Vaggie had been tricked/influenced into turning against what she'd been taught, which is what led Lute to assume the worst. And now that Lute knows her daughter is alive, she wants to bring her home - by force if she needs to - and both try to make up for what she did, and essentially undo the damages that she's convinced herself living in Hell has done to Vaggie.

Even once Lute starts to open up more about the idea of redemption, she's still the most skeptical about it, basically having the mindset that maybe some Sinners could have the desire and conviction to change for the better, and maybe some sins aren't so bad that they deserve to be damned forever for them....but in her eyes, a good percentage of the people in Hell are there for good reason and even if she might concede they don't all deserve to die for it, she doesn't believe they should get to be "rewarded" by being allowed into Heaven.

When it comes to talking about canon stuff, I will try to remember to write the character's name as Vaggi (though I expect I'll forget plenty for so many reasons), but if I'm ever talking about my AU, I will be writing it as "Vaggie", since in the AU, she never has the new name arc.

CWF ask now that the first episodes of season 2 were released :

Lute imo raised Vaggie to be so fierce in part because she sees Abel a a weak, worthless cowardly bitch, and part of why she didn't wanted to admit who was the father was that she didn't wanted Abel to "infect" her daughter with his presence if Vaggie saw him as a brother.

The one time he tried to get near Vaggie, Lute chased him, sword in hand, throughout heaven for an hour, and with such a foul language in Spanish that Adam was actually impressed by her slurs and cursing vocabulary.

Yeah, a big part of the way Vaggie was raised by Lute was because she wanted to avoid her being anything like her eldest half-brother, who Lute always saw as pathetic and weak. And while she didn't want Abel to know about Vaggie....Adam did let it slip, though the only times Abel was really able to get near Vaggie was on Extermination Day.

But thankfully he was able to keep his own mouth shut about their relation - in part because he knew if Lute found out, he'd probably be the first person in Heaven to find out what happens in a Winner gets killed.

He did try getting near Vaggie once when Lute was around, though, and you are basically right in how it ended up.

Also, after Adam's death, Lute starts openly admitting that he was Vaggie's father, and has no problem protesting that if any child of Adam's should be allowed to take over if it has to pass to his child and not to her, it should be Vaggie - even though it's pointed out to her that her daughter is in Hell and seems to have no intention of returning to Heaven. Lute...does not take that well.

Lute in my AU during the timeline of "Storyteller" honestly not doing any better emotionally or mentally than her canon counterpart. Still dealing with Adam's death and her whole life suddenly being changed just like in canon, but also trying to deal with the realization that her belief that her daughter had been killed really was wrong...but also kinda refusing to actually accept that Vaggie had just chosen to spare that cannibal child so she's still dealing with heavy denial.

In the CWF Human AU, while it's far from the only factor, one of the catalysts for Adam and Eve breaking up (which also helped lead to Vaggie's conception), was Abel's birth. Or, more specifically, Adam accusing Eve of cheating on him once he realized that Abel's hair was very much staying blond, and even though Eve is blonde as well, Adam had his doubts considering he knew at least basic genetics and knew that with his entire family having black or brown hair , chances were pretty damn slim he'd end up with a blond kid. And Seth having dark hair as well did not hurt his theory in his eyes.

Though the truth is that there was cheating....but on Adam's side, and the generation prior, though Adam was completely unaware of it.

Despite his assumptions, Adam does try to treat Abel decently enough, though when asked about it later in life, the boy does admit that sometimes he felt like his father didn't love him as much as his brothers.

Once we properly meet Abel, be prepared for some posts about him as he relates to my AU. Even more if/when we see him interact with Vaggie as well as Lute.
