So it turns out that Admiral Kirsten Clancy who swears at Picard in the second episode, Maps And Legends, is played by Ann Magnuson. You definitely don’t know Ann Magnuson from the awesome show ANYTHING BUT LOVE (1989-1992) starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Richard Lewis. Because you are far too young to have watched that show. Her role was very similar to Craig Ferguson’s role on The Drew Carey Show which you are also too young to have seen. She also played Lily Munster in a Munsters TV movie in 1996 “The Munsters' Scary Little Christmas”, and also was in The Hunger with David Bowie, Susan Sarandon and Catherine Deneuve. But really Ann Magnuson was Amanda Palmer before Amanda Palmer.
