Yesterday the Garden Designers planted a Monterey Almond Tree, a patio tomato plant, rosemary, lavender and tons of Marigolds. Marigolds were planted around each of the vegetable plants since they help with pest management. They are also beautiful! I rolled up to work yesterday with two beautiful whiskey barrel planters for the @GreenwayArtsEd Garden Class. I got them from a lovely woman in Burbank named Susan. She helped me carry these hefty planters down to my car while we chatted about local hiking trails.
