THE FAULT IN 'CREATING YOUR OWN REALITY'

The issue is control. The want to control in the first place. This is a trap that people can fall into. You absolutely can get into a vibrational space where you attract to you whatever life you want.

But once you realize you can create your own reality, you fall into the trap of trying to control reality. Now think about the vibration of Control. What's underneath that is Fear. And so you are a perfect vibrational match to situations that vibrate at the frequency of Fear. So, sometimes the people that manifest the worst stuff in their lives, are 'create your own reality' people. And then they say "I don't know why". It's because your trying to control your reality.

So what happens is a natural evolution from I Control and Create my own reality, to I'm going to put myself as close to the state that I can to what I desire, while simultaneously allowing whatever needs to happen to happen. And in that way you've released resistance to what comes. But to be in that state, you have to allow negative stuff. Isn't that interesting?

In the beginning of your practice, "I control my reality" is about avoiding negative things. That resistance creates it. So, one of the main functions of deep shadow work is stopping the resistance. And embracing that aspect.

You're a composite of vibrations. And the world is an impartial mirror. And it is literally simply reflecting what's there. There is no fault... Nor is there a conscious self that says "I want to experience losing someone I love." So the problem is that by even just looking at it as a creation, you've missed the part where it isn't your fault. The self abusive aspect of you is not aware that it's not about fault, there is none. None at all. So when you get into that punishing state, you must remember that this is not about creation. Its literally just reflecting what's there. When you step in front of a mirror, do you call that a 'creation'? The mirror is not punishing you, or saying something is wrong with you.

You adopt vibrations when young and it continues as you grow. It happens at an unconscious level. And because the world functions like a mirror; if you adopt anxiety, now you're a match to things that vibrate at the same frequency as anxiety. But you didn't chose it, because you wouldn't have! What must be realized is that this is a reflection unhealed within me. And it's not necessarily that the wound is my fault, but it's an opportunity for me to go in that wound and to Transmute it so the reflection changes.
