Mental health…it’s NOT a taboo topic, and I’m here to help normalize that. 🙌🏼 I see so many women trying to mask their mental health struggles, heck I’ve even done it, especially when I was struggling with my ADHD in my last years of college. I had my first panic attack after doing terrible on yet another exam, thanks to years of test anxiety. I used to be embarrassed to talk about it. And asking for help?! Yeah, that never crossed my mind a few years ago. But now I know better. I know I’m not alone. And I want to help bring awareness to the fact that mental health is just as important if not more important than physical health. So if you’re struggling today or know someone who is, here are 3 ways that you can improve your mental health! 🧠 Talk to someone. A trusted friend, family member, therapist, coworker, anyone you trust with your feelings and thoughts. 🧠 Get outside. Vitamin D and fresh air can do so much for your mental health, mood, and it’s of course an essential vitamin too! 🧠 Stay active. Moving your body daily boosts your endorphins, which are the happy hormones that trigger your brain to release natural good vibes.
