Why pay attention to numbers only when the system of man has taught us to? It's learned behavior, ya know. Looking at the clock and the calendar for times and dates that manifest our present.
Waking up on time, getting to work on time, making that appointment on time, picking the kids up from soccer practice on time, getting to bed on time...and doing it all over again.
We look at the days of the week to see when we have to keep those appointments, make that call, do the grocery shopping, or that huge load of laundry. We look for when it's time to celebrate a birthday or holiday or pay a bill or to keep from running late.
Times and dates have actually become a thing of stress-inducing behavior. Looking at the clock and calendar nowadays kinda makes one feel anxious with the anticipation of the expectations of all the stuff we must contribute our energy to.
Numbers are meant for our learning and growing -- just like in mathematics but in spiritual terms -- and as such, numbers are a blessing. A blessing of comfort and cosmic acknowledgment of our struggling...our pain. It's like God saying...everything's gonna be okay.
